Linus Smallprint

@writingwren

I’m having a similar problem. I love my projects but I flit from one to the next and no real progress gets made, so I don’t know how much help I’ll be. As far as clean Christian books go, I generally read classics and MG. I avoid YA and adult unless recommended by people I trust or written in the olden days. If you want…[Read more]

Thank you, guys, so much! I really appreciate it. Thank you for your prayers.

@elishavet-pidyon

Aw…thanks so much. I love what you said about “unexpected joy”. It warmed my heart. I see God’s hand in this trial, even though sometimes I forget about it when I’m focusing on myself and not Christ, and I…[Read more]

Congratulations @linus-smallprint!!!!! That’s amazing!!

@linus-smallprint

That’s awesome! Must be fun, getting hired for an artist’s gig. 😜 I like the idea of illustrating a children’s book. There’s so much room for creativity.

What reading level is it?

Y’all I’ve done it!! We’ve got new Keepers!!! Go check the “Start Here!” There’s a new girl on right now!

November! And yes, very, very exciting!

Oh yay! I’ll go look!

I just wrapped up a WWII Trilogy for adults and am working on editing a WWII trilogy for YA. After the wedding I plan to start a new WIP in a completely different genera and time period!

@linus-smallprint

Oh I can’t wait to find out what book you are illustrating. I would be tempted to buy the book just based on your art being in it! I’ve always like your style.

I’ve been writing, editing, keeping WHP up and running, working with employees, taking over some stuff for KP as you can see, and… last but not least….…[Read more]

@linus-smallprint

Wonderful!

No I haven’t seen it yet, but I am still going through all the ones I can find. And there are TONS! If she doesn’t receive an email by tomorrow evening have her resubmit and application so it’ll come to the top.

@linus-smallprint

I was able to track down Reagan and his wife (both original founders of KP) they had no idea anyone was still active! I had a phone call with them and they made me director and gave me access to the back of KP and all the emails! I’m really hoping I can help keep the site going. I may call on you if I have any tech issues. 🤭

@linus-smallprint You’re welcome!!

I have an interview with the college I want to attend on Wednesday. I’m terrified, and pretty much everyone I know went to college in the 1900s and they don’t know what’s going on anymore…Does anyone here attend college/attended college/have advice about this?

Tagging some old people: (no offense lol) @elishavet-pidyon @koshka @loopylin @whaleke…[Read more]

Hi! I’m interesting in learning about that book once it’s published!

I haven’t had much time for either writing or KP lately, between school, dance, and work. I’m a senior now so I’m trying to figure what I want to do with my life as an adult.😅 I have an interview with the college I want to go to on Wednesday so that’s exciting…[Read more]

@linus-smallprint Hi again!! Your job opportunity sounds cool!

I’ve been doing great! I’ve missed your stories lol, when the third draft is finished will we be able to read it?

I’ve been working on animation; my dad has a friend who does animation as a side job so he’s been giving me tips. It’s pretty cool. My skills are nowhere near good…[Read more]

Hello! Good to see you back! That illustrating gig sounds like fun. I would love to hear about it when it’s published. Your art style is perfect book illustrations.

I have been busy myself working full time and trying to stay healthy and not burn out. I’ve been somewhat consistent with writing daily which I’m excited about.…[Read more]

Congratulations on the full-time jo1 Hope it works out well. Adulting is not totally awful.

I understand about the website. I liked many of the ideas behind the structure, and am glad they are documented at least. It would have been a huge load to haul though.

And like the others said, enough of us have made contact outside of…[Read more]
