I never thought I’d be writing to Bilbo…but it’s not impossible.

Hello! My name is Liberty Durmaz. You’re not related to Frodo Baggins, by any chance, right? Because I know a Frodo Baggins. (for real, though, I have a friend who loves Frodo Baggins, so she uses his name for a profile, like you.)

So, I’m guessing for you it’s L…[Read more]

Hello! My name is Liberty Durmaz. I’m the King’s young daughter (18, to be exact), and I love history, siblings, reading, writing, and a whole host of other things. I’m not super active on KP, but still around.

A  couple questions!

Are you a guy or a gal? I would really like to know.

What kind of business are you interested…[Read more]

Thank you for sharing. Could you share a little about your parent? How was/is it for you?

Thank you for sharing that verse! I will also check into the video.

@quicksilverwyvern

Oh, hello! You’re new! I’ll have to introduce myself…thank you so much for praying! Yes, it is rough at times, but it’s also helped us grow a lot. Welcome to KP!

Thank you, guys, so much! I really appreciate it. Thank you for your prayers.

@elishavet-pidyon

Aw…thanks so much. I love what you said about “unexpected joy”. It warmed my heart. I see God’s hand in this trial, even though sometimes I forget about it when I’m focusing on myself and not Christ, and I…[Read more]

Hello!

It’s neat to have someone new! If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t worry. I felt the same when I first joined.

My name is Liberty. I’m usually not that active on KP, but as I’ve recently started a Substack for my family’s ministry and write every week, I’ve been getting more into all the writing life. I’m a saved-by-grace…[Read more]

Is there something I can pray for you?

By the way, I love that quote you have on your tag

Thank you so much!

Whoa! How did you become a moderator? What does a moderator even do?

It’s also just like you to track down the founders. Hah.

Wait what?

Who’s the new girl?

Also…Rak Chazak Amats is the war cry of KP…right? (I’ve forgotten)

This is slightly scary. You’re in control of everybody??!!! And the website?!

Hey…[Read more]

Although…KP’s kind of been quiet recently. Everyone is growing up and getting busier!

Whoa…that sounds chaotic. I didn’t even know people went to college for that.

@whalekeeper

Glad to hear. Community college must be nice because then you’re not so far away from family.

Oh no…you’re the forum director now?

*chuckles* Congrats! Good. I hope KP will start working better.

Great!

I understand. What are you guys studying in college?

@keilah-h

Totally understandable. I’m planning to join CWW next year too, so I’ll look forward to you being on there too!

YAY! I’ll look for you on there when it starts!

Is anyone…[Read more]

Thank you! *saves to folder* He looks good in his doctor outfit. I like his nose a lot. The drawing seems sketchy. Is that your usual style? How long did it take you? I have to get better at people! Christiana has begun teaching me and it’s exciting to draw people instead of animals all the time.

Oh! I forgot about Peter being a mechanic. I’ll use that.

Great! I’ll see what I can do with lions and edelweiss for Francis.

Oooh. History is just so amazing. You could just get lost in it!

Nicklaus’s crest is beautiful! I may mix a few elements…we’ll see.

Thank you! I’m not the best artist, but if I don’t freak out and stay calm, the drawings usually turn out satisfactory. I think God helps me too.

AHH! I’m so glad you like them! (I really like how they both turned out too) Oh my…now you’re on a rant. A Melvin horse? *chuckles* He would look sour for sure.

Yes, I’m planning to give the brothers the David Star. Well…Peter’s a gardener…right? Would that work? Rafe is Swiss, right? I could give him the Swiss flag. As…[Read more]

By the way, how did you get the picture you drew for Whalekeeper so clean and white? Did you scan it?

Ellette: Here are Reinhard and Wolfgang! Did I draw them well?
I’m working on the whole league now. Just finished Peter yesterday, at least the pencil sketch. I’m planning to put symbols representing each character in the league picture. I thought of drawing the SS symbol for Reinhard, and of…[Read more]

Okay, deal! I’m excited too to see how they turn out.

No, you don’t have to follow the art style. Just try to capture the same general look.

I understand! I’ll tag you onto the art so you can see what it’s like.

Sure thing! I’d love to do the brothers.

Haha…if I do the whole league, you’ll have to do more characters for me. *wink* Righto, though. I’ll jump onto it. It’ll be funny to hear what you think of them.

Okay, can you draw one of the MCs from my current wip? I have a reference photo for him that I’ll attach.

Here he…[Read more]

I saw the art going around…and I wanted to join! Would any of you be interested in an art swap? I thought the drawing of Wolfgang was great! And that one Grcr did of Reinhard… *laughing* The digital art was stunning. Now, I am not an artist according to your guys’ levels, but I can…[Read more]

What’s your name on JWM?

Whoa, that sounds really interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Oh wait…I think I’ve heard you mentioned Nahim before. Oh yes…I can totally understand why it feels very special to you! No problem. Don’t feel pressured to reply back/be super active on JWM.

Great! See you over there! What is Guardian Angels about?

Awesome!

What’s your profile name on JWM? I can’t find you.

I asked Justice about after this month, and he says they’re planning to host JWM every year. But I’m glad you joined up anyway!

Wait, you’re going to college? Woah…what’s the Next C.S.Lewis Foundation course?!

Great! November is just a writing galore month!

Probably just November. This is the first time they’re doing this, so I’m not 100% what’s happening after November. We’ll see.

Are any of…[Read more]

You may or may not have heard me rave about the MARKED series. It’s a…[Read more]

Well…I love the trope of the older brother protecting his younger siblings. Or even an older sister. There’s also the dynamic of the action sibling and the book sibling…but perhaps that gets used too much.

I also love the dynamic of having a strong sibling and a weak sibling. Or siblings that have a big age gap between them. I…[Read more]

Hey! How about JonA?

I feel like I may have found my shippers for this book. Can you even “ship” those names? What would that even be?

Hah! This is awesome! Let’s see…

Some ideas:

Amthan

Amnathan

Jonamb

I like Amnathan the best. It has a cool rhythm. Does anybody have other ideas?

I knew it!

I feel like Amber and Jonathan are going to adopt Leo. 😂

I agree 100%! And I totally think Jonathan and Amber are going to fall in love.
