I will indeed be repetitive and say music XD. I have a very vivid imagination and just listening to music and imagining worlds and characters….it’s just so incredible. It’s a bit hard to explain. It just gives me joy, especially when it’s something your like “OH MY WORD!! That makes sense!!!” Or a brand new character or idea.

K I got some music recommendations somewhere above (or on the previous page) if ya wanna look!
As for 7 books, I knew I wanted it to be a fairly long series, maybe around 7 but I first just planned for 5 as a starting number and then decided “hey let’s go for 7”
Plus that’s better for the story anyway.
I like both of those s…[Read more]

@kathleenramm Recently I was looking at a really pretty piece of art and I wanted to write a story off of it but I couldn’t think of one so I set it as my desktop wallpaper and then last week I woke up in the middle of the night with an epiphany of the story I wanted to tell…
But art, watching movies, and listening to music are all probably…[Read more]

@gh24682468999 Hi! I don’t believe we’ve met yet. *extends hand solemnly*
I…don’t know yet if I’m doing NaNo. My school’s finals week is in November (technically anyway), so I’m a bit…crunched for time at the moment. BUT I know I’ll definitely keep writing during November, even if I don’t hit the 50k. 😛 Best of luck with your novel-ing…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 *receives virtual chocolate* And I signed up for your email list! Thanks for letting me know about that 🙂
@devastate-lasting Ah dear :/ Best of luck to you as you decide about that. You could always do a smaller goal, like Kathleen. Also, do you have any tips based on your past experience in Nano? Because I can really obsess over my…[Read more]

@gracie-j Most of my characters probably can’t swim very well, so… Those with water powers would choose the sea monster, those with dragon powers would choose the dragon, and those who have neither will choose based off of how well they can swim.
(Did my…did my previous post not post? What? Now I have to do this all over again…)
Okay.…[Read more]

Yea it’s still pretty difficult for me because I struggle with doubt and am a bit of a perfectionist. I had a huge fantasy series (fairytale retelling) in the planning. Been thinking about those ideas for quite a while, and had started a series inside of that series (a Peter Pan retelling) but when I got to the 2nd draft I r…[Read more]

@godlyfantasy12 Oh, I see. Unfortunately ideas aren’t copy-righted (as long as they’re super vague, like “a nobody boy gets chosen to save whole place from evil person”) but the specifics are yours.
So what do you like to do? Any hobbies (besides writing)?
@kathleenramm Cookies? Where?

So happy to think they’re creative! I hope if they do exist someday people will read them…

@kathleenramm It involves two characters who are basically in a love square because they don’t realize each other’s secret identities. I’ve heard it’s quite amazing.

@kathleenramm On the topic of secret identities, have you watched Miraculous Ladybug?
@nova21 I like the tsundere character. You know, the Grumpy Cat. Will kill you if their coffee is not right, but if you’re dying he’ll cry. Also I really like cinnamon roll characters. They’re so cute and fluffy.

@kathleenramm Hmm…I kind of want to write some cliched system novels sometime. Maybe one about a restaurant system, and another about leveling up in a truck…
I also want to work on my unsatisfactory endings. You know, because a satisfactory ending allows you to stop thinking about it, but a good unsatisfactory ending makes you think about the…[Read more]

@jenwriter17 Hmm… Christa would definitely prefer the coldest place in the world, since she has ice powers and is used to living up in the North anyway. River, on the other hand, would probably choose the hottest place since he lives in a sandy town. Or the coldest place. Maybe he’s sick of heat. But then again, people from warm places can’t…[Read more]

@gracie-j Eyy, happy early bookiversary! (I continue to insist that “bookiversary” is a word, even though both Microsoft Word and Google Docs vehemently disagree with me.)
First off, tell me more about Scarlette! (Is…is that a reference to Gone With the Wind I sense? :P) How did she become to be Rina’s “ward”? Or shall I just have to read th…[Read more]
