@kathleenramm I love that story! So cute
I ship itHere’s one that related to my latest WIP:
Last year I was running laps, nothing unusual, normal fall day, and then I pass this group of kids.
They were probably… idk, 12, 13? But there was this one kid, super short with super messy strawberry blond hair, super freckled, who was being super…[Read more]

That is an incredibly cute story! And you added ghosts? How does that sound amazing!:)
As for me, this happens a lot. I see things in real life and -this is why I carry writing supplies everywhere, even just around the farm- jot random things down from a man riding out of a grocery store on a shopping cart to a boy and girl that…[Read more]

@kathleenramm It was one of those homeschool minivans, which is lowkey funny to me. That would make a great device, as well as a way to introduce a character.

@kathleenramm I actually did write a story based on it 😀 a little bit loosely albeit, but here it is if you’d like to read it 😀 https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oa-DrOTBmcNVHcn3DZbgjPmYM1qNDuKPzyE_u0AWeaA/edit?usp=sharing

That is so incredibly cute! And I think we need a sequel to that short story about the janitor 😛
Occasionally little things I’ve experienced make it into stories of mine, but one thing that happened actually made it into the work I am possibly most proud of, a short story I wrote a few years back. Essentially, my family had lunch…[Read more]

@kathleenramm Awwwww, that’s such a cute story!!! I would love to read that short story one day, because it just sounds too perfect. (I love the phrase “spicing it up a bit with some ghosts” btw–that’s such a writerly mood. 😉 )
Well, I work in a library now, so I’m sure there will be lots of things that inspire my stories that I see there.…[Read more]

@kathleenramm That’s such a fun story!
Other than people that would make good characters…
On the first day of one of my classes this year I was heading in doors to the place where we hold our co-op, and anyways, while I was still outside in the parking lot, this car just drove by in front of my, crunching this safety cone (which are…[Read more]

Nice to meet you too!
Favs… LOTR: Gandalf, Hunger Games: Johanna, and Star Wars: Darth Vader… or maybe R2?
The first time I remember writing a story was when I was… idk, 6? To be clear tho, my writing habits were extremely sporadic until I turned 13 a few years ago. I don’t know if I even could…[Read more]

@kathleenramm So great to meet you too!
My favorite thing about writing is that it’s an adventure for me as much as it is for my characters. I got really good at daydreaming when I was a kid and now I just put all of that into my writing, so it’s like I get to hold onto it forever, and hopefully other people will enjoy it too.

This is very random, but when y’all are writing and you get stuck at a scene, do you make yourself keep working on it so you stay in order? Or do you sort of jump to the next scene that interests you so you can keep up your momentum?
Adding some peoples… (also this might go through twice…)

Ummmmmm… *completely blanks* is both an answer? Sometimes it’s easy because I can think, oh, hey, how would I respond in this situation? But other times, it’s like, but I don’t like how I respond in this situation! And then I change it.

@kathleenramm I think there are a few reasons I like Pride and Prejudice. Although I do not generally like romance novels, I enjoyed the complicated plot and the characters, especially the Bennett siblings and Mr. Darcy. Also, I committed a horrible crime and *gasp* watched the movie first. I had never watched a movie before a book before, and I w…[Read more]

This is such a cool topic! I would choose Tess, Rowan, and Connor.
Rowan (MC) is a prince that was supposedly killed as a toddler. His oldest brother, the king, wanted him dead so he wouldn’t have rivals, but he also needed him alive in case he died without leaving an heir. So he let Rowan live, but never told anyone who he was. R…[Read more]

I’m going to have a hard time deciding which WIP to use. . .
1. Camille Morris, my main character, just finished high school, she is kind, adventurous, a little overconfident, she wants to help everybody she meets and is always chasing after a good story to send to the newspaper. (She hopes that maybe they’ll publish it. But they…[Read more]
