@gracie-j I just downloaded LibreOffice, and am excited to try it out! I also downloaded Quoll Writer; it seems very close to a free alternative to Scrivener. Thanks for the suggestion!

Though, after thinking about this a while, I remember something a very smart teacher of mine said once. When asked how what he thought about swearing, he said that he usually considered about if this would hurt the person that he would say it in front of.
