You get to be one of your characters for a day. Who would you be and why?
Okay, so pretty much all my characters have pretty tragic lives so this is not an easy answer. But that being said, there is one character that I do think would be fun to be for a day.Her name is May and she’s a bounty hunter along with her brother.
I’d like to be her for…[Read more]

Although I have yet to read Howl’s Moving Castle, it’s been on my “to read” list quite sometime now.
Whoa, your hook is really intriguing. It really makes me curious and want to continue reading on.
If the first couple lines of your story are the weakest, then you must have an incredibly strong story! They both make…[Read more]

Those are a beautiful couple first lines! Something about your pros is always so lovely. It for some reason reminds me of kaleidoscopic water color painting with a touch of magic. I love it. XD
I really love the imagery those first sentences. It already paints a clear picture of the scene in your head.

What is the first sentence (or first three sentences) of your current WIP?
“Have you heard of the boy who could freeze time?Unless you’re me, probably not. Because well, it’s me.”
Ummm… so yeah…. you’ll understand if you read it. XD Might change that later on, but that’s the first three sentence of the current short story I’m writing. W…[Read more]

I think fanfiction is a great non-intimidating way to enter the world of creative writing!
Since you already have the characters and the world, all you have to do is focus on the story and prose. This can be really nice expecially when starting out because instead of thinking about a million different things while writing…[Read more]

Whoa, you’ve got a YouTube channel for covers? That’s so cool! I totally understand if you want to keep it private, but I’d love to check it out.
Well, I used to play the violin, but I had a pretty intense teacher for a few years, so ever since I stopped taking lessons I haven’t touched it. So yeah, I still have…[Read more]

Hi Wyn! Welcome to the forum!
Whoa, congrats on making it to 60k! I’m more of a short story gal, but I’ve recently I’ve been really wanting to write a full length novel. What has been your favorite part, and what has been the hardest part about writing your first novel?
Ah! I love art too! Have you ever drawn art for your…[Read more]

What is your protagonist’s main internal struggle in your WIP?
So I’ll use my protagonist from a short story that I’ve recently started. It’s so new that I don’t even have a name for my MC, (I really gotta fix that XD), but I do have a pretty good idea about who he is, the flow of the story, and the main conflict. His main internal struggle is…[Read more]

Hi Abigail! Awesome to have you here on the forum!
Your three favorite authors are some of my favorites as well! I’ve been reading a lot of C.S. Lewis’s books lately, (mostly non-fiction), with each book I read of his my respect for him as not just an author, but of a person, grows.
Which one of Tolkien’s and which one of C.S.…[Read more]

Well, out of all the places to be captured and locked up in, a Cheeto factory isn’t to shabby.
But this has left me with one burning question… who paid for the meal?

I think the reason why ATLAB has been having a resurgence as of late, is because of it being put on Netflix.
So a bunch of people is rediscovering it or discovering it for the first time, like me and my siblings a couple of months ago.
I didn’t have high expectations when I watched it, so it pretty much blew me away. After the…[Read more]

I’m terribly late to this welcome party, but I still wanted to stop by and say a quick hello!
I pretty much was raised on The Twelve Dancing Princesses Barbie film. XD So that story will always have a very special place in my heart.
