I’d love to just sit at a coffee shop for a couple hours and watch people coming in and out and listen to their conversations

Are you sure we’re thinking of the same contest? ‘Cuz the theme for my age-group for this contest was simply write a story about perseverance through failure.

I didn’t enter the Bunyan fiction contest— I figured my nerves would be shot enough waiting for the results of one contest, let alone two. 😛 I do wish you the best of luck with your entry, though. 🙂 Let me know how you did.-

@Kate-Flournoy I read Lord of the Flies a few years ago. It was really interesting; different from anything I’d read and yet fascinating. It reminded me a little of Animal Farm by Orwell.

@kate-flournoy you share a title with the Lady Dragon, is the wretchedly evil villain in Kendra E. Ardnek’s Rizkaland Legends book(s). (Hopefully I’m thinking of the same Lady Dragon as @anna-brie is.) Lady Dragon is an awesome villain by the way; one of my favorites. Not that it helps any, but… 😉
