I have to echo what Ella said. I LOVE characters who are hardened and tough on the outside, but hurting and vulnerable on the inside. I have such a soft spot for the characters with tragic pasts that make them form “walls” around themselves, but on the inside they’re full of passion and imagination and wanderlust!  So basically the dark/brooding/misunderstood charries. 😉
