@ingridrd Thank you! Those are all cool but I was thinking something that sounds more “normal” I suppose. I kind of like Tara, though *strokes chin in thought*. Do you have a preference out of the three I first mentioned?
And thank you! (It’s so true too!). -

I have a female character I’m trying to name, and I’ve been looking at names that are associated with astronomy and I have a few ideas:
Lyra, Juliet, or Carina.
My biggest problem with these is that I can think of a rather famous character with each name *sigh*.
Thoughts? Ideas?

@dekreel I’ve been meaning to look into the DISC thing for awhile, but as of now I don’t know what I am.
But I know I’m an INFP through and through. (You’re probably shocked as I know there aren’t many INFPs around these parts *cough cough*) 😉 -

@dragon-snapper *whispers* I’m just stalking as well, haha.
I really like to draw but it’s more cartoon than manga. @allyouartists your art is so cool! -

@dragon-snapper
I agree a break may be in order, and I think @daeus 2nd point is really important. God may be calling you to focus on something else right now, and so I’d encourage you to be sensitive to that. 🙂
But if it’s just a case of creative fatigue, my advice is to:
1. Read/watch/listen to the things that inspire you. (Maybe even things…[Read more] -

@sam-kowal Thanks! It hadn’t occurred to me that they didn’t show any of the older characters until later in the film. I think that would help a lot.

@catwing But who will teach me the ways of the force now!? -

@emily Never mind. I’ve found it 😀

@catwing Help me Obi Wan Kenobi! You’re my only hope!! (haha)
@emily No, I haven’t. I’m having slight difficulty locating it, though.
@epicaddie2 No worries!
@kate-flournoy Yes, that’s helpful! Thank you 😀
That’s an interesting answer, because it then becomes sort of like solving the mentor/hero problem. (In which the mentor is often more…[Read more] -

In a sequel book or series, in a situation where you’re introducing a new cast, or the next generation of characters in your storyworld, how can you avoid the audience being aggravated with the younger/new characters for being “less interesting” than the original cast. (Not that they actually are, but sometimes it feels that way when we don’t know…[Read more]

@supermonkey42 Really? I didn’t know that about the puffins. Interesting 🙂
@koryn-koch I actually thought they used Yoda well, in teaching Luke something. It also showed us that Luke was stubborn enough that only things from his past could sway his mind. (Yoda, and R2/Leia when he played the old recording.) I think it also served well as a…[Read more] -

@dekreel AAAA star wars!!! I finally got to see it yesterday. 😀
Honestly my thoughts about the whole thing are a bit scattered because I was so excited about the Force Bond being real. I’ve been hoping for TWO YEARS it would be. *squeaks in delight*
(Also that Rey would not be a Skywalker, Solo, Kenobi, or whatever. But I wasn’t as surprised in…[Read more] -

@emily Sorry it took me so long to get back to you! I was pretty busy with Christmas and family and all (I’m sure you understand), but I’m kind of excited to share my thoughts on this, because it’s something I really struggled with in the past. I would consistently start writing a project, reach a certain point, and then be unsure of where to go…[Read more]

@allison-grace Tea. (He’s really sensitive to caffeine.)
@emily Science. He doesn’t mind math, but it’s more interesting.
