@perfectfifths Ohhhh, I hate that!

Sometimes, for me, I finish drawing the body, but the head is too big, so I make it smaller. But that means I have to make the neck longer, and it ends up being like a giraffe! ARGH!

I think that happened when I was drawing my current profile picture, actually XD

Thanks! Yes, mine often end up small, too. It’s a waste of paper! Uugggh…

@dekreel Yass! I try to keep the head the same size that I started with (and if I did that and made the body in proportion, they wouldn’t be so small!!!), but sometimes it’s just going to be too big, and I don’t want to do it chibi. 😛

Out of all the facial features everything has an important impact on the expression, but I find eyebrows to have the most important impact. 😉

There’s this cool drawing exercise I’ve heard about (I should really do it myself)
But what you do is pick an emotion, and draw it. But then you draw it AGAIN pushing the facial features more. And then again.. and you keep doing it again to see how far you can push the emotion. 🙂

I’m bad at explaining stuff but hopefully you understood what I meant haha.

@jenwriter17 I can only draw people. I can draw chibi people (kinda…), but as I said I am not very good. I’m still learning from a couple of my friends. I might post, but I’m probably going to wait until I get a drawing tablet. (Not Sponsored! *grins sheepishly*)

I mean, I could post a picture of manga I’ve done; would anyone like to see? (How do you post pictures again?)

Here is a better example of my manga/cartoon blend style. I usually just draw profiles. The girl with the hat is my favorite 🙂

@perfectfifths, I’ve had a lot of practice drawing. Plus, internet tutorials, and I bought a cheap mannequin from Wal-mart.

@dekreel, Oh, I see what you mean. I would love to learn to animate, I’m actually considering getting a degree in japanese(anime) animation. I would love to be able to create clean, good anime that everyone can watch without worrying about nasty scenes and such. 😉

If I ever do, I suppose I’ll have to send all the lovely people at Kingdom Pen a link. 😉

Oh, and her’s another drawing I just finished of my MC in my novel. What do you guys think?
