Hey, Veterans Day is this upcoming Saturday.
Honestly, before Veterans Day was nothing more than a name, I never put a date to it, never thought about it. My homeschooled co-op did a small ceremony, but it meant…[Read more]

Oof, those are hard questions. For the first one, I get what you mean. I think for the first chapter, an introduction is fine. Personally, I would try to focus on the relationship between Ami and Ev, and his family conflict, because I think that will hook the reader.
Yes, definitely. XDXD
Ok, yeah. I think I already have a few ideas…[Read more]

Some more….
Towards the end of the summer, on a Sunday afternoon, the Cullivers invited my family and the Perkins over for a picnic. George, Etta, Chester, and I went out to the barn. The horses seemed skittish, which I thought rather odd, but I didn’t see anything that would spook them.
“What’s the matte…[Read more]

Yes, I introduced him more recently. He’s been part of the story but I felt like he wasn’t super well developed so I’ve been trying to write more with him in this part of the plot to help develop him some more. And if I say anything else I’m afraid I’ll give spoilers so I’m gonna shut up now lol.

I would like some serious criticizing on this scene. I don’t want to hear anything like “It’s good” I want to hear stuff like, “It needs help here…” “It’s fine here…” I don’t…[Read more]

I think the second part flows pretty well!
This paragraph, “Something impacted Nahim’s armor about six inches above where his plate ended at the bottom of the rib cage. There was a boom and a flash from the object. Nahim drew his gun and aimed into the fog. His helmet searched for some signature from the person who had shot at him, but it could d…[Read more]-

What’s your vote? Chester and Libbie, or Albert and Libbie? I’m not gonna give any spoilers, but I’m curious to hear your thoughts.

Some more… Honestly I’m not sure what the point of this scene is supposed to be, entirely, but here it is anyway lol.
Etta was still absent the next day, and after school, I met George and Chester by the road going further into town.
“You all still want to stop by the post?” Chester asked.
“Of cours…[Read more]

Seriously though… sometimes I laugh at the things I have to look up when I’m writing lol.
I usually just think, I hope no one walks in right now and asks me questions. And I wonder what people would think if they knew what I was doing…especially my mom and dad…
😂😂 yeah, the browser history thing is funny sometimes lol<…

Hey bloggers! 😁
So I’ve actually been seriously considering starting a blog so that I can start building my writing platform as soon as possible. I’ve brainstormed and I think it’s just going to be about writing and books/book reviews. I’m not sure if I’ll start it soon or n…[Read more]

Joining to outline at :48! It’s okay to skip NaNo. I am going for 30k at best, and even then I have a feeling that won’t happen. But that’s okay. Hope you have a sweet sprint!

That’s very interesting. I never really thought much of the day, but this is something to think about. I will pray for the Veterans and our country this Saturday. ❤️ 🇺🇸
@grcr
*A large smile creeps across my face*
My grandpa is a Vietnam veteran actually. He didn’t see any combat, but he did sleep through a hurricane.
I just played the flute and sang in our school Veteran’s Day Concert. It’s amazing how many served our country, and how real the war was to them.
@rae
Thanks for sharing. We definitely need to respect our veterans. I will pray for them too. 🇺🇸
Thanks for sharing!! In America, we definitely take for granted our veterans and all they went through. This is a great reminder!
