Moth

For once, Moth did not hear the voices of those around him. Their words punctured his mind some of the way, and he vaguely registered their meaning. He might have pushed away his disappointment — disappointment, was it? — and enjoyed the lecture. The professor had said something to him and was now writing something els…[Read more]

, she’s someone’s little Bwerdie.

Siren girl?? I forgot her name

Lois

“I believe those questions are better suited for a poet or a philosopher, not a scientist, my friend,” Lois murmured gently to Moth. He glanced up at Ellis. He wasn’t sure why, possibly for support. The prince was resting his head on one hand, seemingly trying to but failing to hide an amused smile. Lois felt that the…[Read more]

@theducktator

I love the fire theme. Can’t tell if she’s a villain or an mc with a lot of character growth to go through

Gabriel

Gabriel pulled his arms closer to himself, as if trying to make himself smaller. “I was average in height for my village, but I was scrawny when I was younger. I only started building much strength by 12 or 13. Why?”

I just posted Iolyn’s moodboard in the moodboard topic in case anyone’s curious.

@rae

To all of probably only 1-2 people who get this reference, she’s someone’s little Bwerdie.

Ahhhh.

Well now I want Enid, Isabeau, AND Lu to be here. And I can’t do that. Hm.

Here’s Iolyn!

@c-l-speck Hi, and welcome to KP! 👋🏻

Your WIP sounds very intriguing👀 I love the thought behind your book. What would you say are your favorite theme(s) in your story?

Oh, and I should introduce myself…hi, I’m Freedom, a Child of God first and foremost, writer, reader, indie author, history buff (WW2 specifically), MCU fan, aspiring a…[Read more]

@quarterstaffgirl Hi and welcome to KP! 👋🏻💜

Quarterstaffs are such an underrated weapon choice, and it’s so cool that you use one. What would you say is the hardest (or easiest) part of using one?

I’m Freedom, a Child of God first and foremost, writer, reader, indie author, history buff (WW2 specifically), MCU fan, aspiring artist, music…[Read more]

Lucille

Lucy was not sure if the strong inside part was all true. But people kept telling her those things, so she was not going to argue. Besides, hopefully she would be good at everything when she grew to full size. “Mr. Zandi — he’s my next-door neighbor — he says I remind him of a war general he met when he was a b…[Read more]

@galaxartian Hi Galaxartian, welcome to KP! 👋🏻

Ooh, fantasy. 👀 The themes you explore in your writing sound very interesting: what led you to tackling those themes in your writing?

Ahem…I should probably introduce myself. I’m Freedom, child of God first and foremost, writer of primarily historical fiction and no-magic fantasy, indie author,…[Read more]

@liberty I’m taking part in JWM again this year 🫶🏻

@rae

is, I can’t think of a single person who actually knows him who thinks he’s weak in anything except social and academic understanding.

I’d guess that’s why. He’s not socially or academically knowledgeable. Anyone lacking in those skills would at least feel unintelligent, even if that isn’t the case.

@ellette-giselle Ahhh this is so exciting🫶🏻🤭

I’m not very active on here anymore, but hello everyone new (and old)👋🏻

Iolyn Linder

Iolyn is 18 years old and enjoys exploring, learning about history, (please no one get her started because I have not fleshed out the history of her world yet, XD), old books, writing, tea, politics, and being outside. She’s ambitious, loyal, intelligent, lonely, passionate, and bitter, and she’s a pyrokinetic. The one person she…[Read more]

Moth

They all took seats at dark mahogany desks. Moth settled down, softly twiddling his fingers. Sitting down with a master of knowledge always opened his eyes to something new. He had never learned in a place like this before.

The professor — a late middle-aged gentleman — strode to the standing backboard. His sil…[Read more]

I’m considering adding a character in here to flesh her out.

@quarterstaffgirl

Sorry it took me forever to respond:)

You’re good! *stares guiltily at my own list of people to respond to*

I love pancakes. My favorites are lemon yoghurt.

I found out today that Tesla is discontinuing the cybertruck and thank goodness. XD
