Prologue
I know I’m imaginary.

You’re reading about me right now, thinking smugly about how you’ve seen a self-aware intro before. But this is me, not another imaginary narrator, so I’m just going t…[Read more]

Intro/Things You Need to Know

The biggest thing to know is that your character may be a villain. Even if they are a hero in your story, they may show a d…[Read more]

You don’t need to feel bad, that’s perfect I think!

Oops, I misspelled your tag

@arcaneaxiom

Hi! I generally lean more towards soft worldbuilding, though I am trying to create a world with harder worldbuilding. (I haven’t actually come up with any good ideas yet though.) My duck world has a very soft magic system, in which pretty much every weird magic idea I’ve had exists. Including a singing pineapple.

My favorite concept…[Read more]

Yeah, they’re from the same universe, but they’re from different countries. Markus lives in a far southern country (which is actually uninhabited besides him and his dad, and is very much like Antarctica), and Flaz lives in the northern country of Extroit (which is very much like America).

They don’t really know each other that well…[Read more]

Also, you should meet @ava-blue , aka Queen of the Chicken Nation.

…if she would actually show her online face on here for once *sigh*

Oooh! A chicken nation! 👀

@rae

a NO. 2 school pencil with an eraser that actually erased!!! would you believe it!

Literally a miracle ;P

Quick questions:

@jonas

Do Rina and Zash know each other? (I’m assuming they would be enemies if they did)

@grcr

Are Flaz and Markus from the same universe? If so, what is it like, and what are their relationship? If not, could you briefly describe their universes please? :]

I need the 24th character!! I think Highscribe…[Read more]

People say I’m sneaking around, and little kids like to yell that they see me cuz they think I’m hiding

Lol, people say that about me all the time 😝 Because once I’m tired of people, I sneak off and do my own thing in the shadows as well.

Hi!

I’m Janessa, aka Trailblazer, because I love hiking, especially in the mountains.

I love mountain hiking! What mountains do you hike? My family always goes to the Blue Ridge mountains on vacation and we always hike!

I can’t say I’ve written people I don’t like into my novels, but I’ve definitely written interesting strangers…

@theducktatorAghhh my post was eaten… how unfortunate. Now I’ll have to type everything out again. Sigh. I’m Janessa, aka Trailblazer, because I love hiking, especially in the mountains. I write mostly historical fiction, contemporary, some mystery, and some journalism. I was also homeschooled, and technically I’m a PK, although my dad’s role…[Read more]

Hello! Oh YES. SHINY THINGS. I love shiny things!!!

Your WIPs sound amazing. I would totally read them. What is Queen Natalie queen of?

Thanks! Natalie is queen of an island inhabited mostly by ducks, which needs a name. (I named it Angel Island when I was about 9, but that had nothing to do with the world or the plot, I just thought it…[Read more]

@esther-c

Ok, so the contemporary one I was talking about I don’t quite have a plot for yet, lol. I know a lot about the characters, but not the story.

I get that. That’s most of my wips.

The other one is dystopian and it’s about two families (a member from each which are my MCs) who start looking for “the cure” after their president who’s t…

One of my characters has a fire-breathing cat named Fire Face. But he isn’t fireproof on the outside… so he sometimes catches himself on fire… very unfortunate for him.

😆Poor thing.

And yeah! That’d be good way to explain steampunk.

Cool!

Sorry it took me so long to answer. I had to make a list! I think there are 46 books/series on this list, and I probably missed some. I couldn’t just pick one!

Harry Potter
Alcatraz vs. the Evil Librarians
The Stormlight Archive
Tress of the Emerald Sea
Lord of the Rings
The Hobbit

Speaking of dead things, I used to always carry around this scorpion encased in clear plastic in my pocket all the time. I named him Johnny after a dead character from an old thriller story I was writing. Not sure where he is now though 🙁
