Gotcha @Hope. Thanks— you’re right.
Quick question for all of you here— how was the description of the drink? Specifically, did I spend too much time on it?

@Hope In regards to spoilers, it isn’t likely that I’ll remember them by the time you send me the book. 😉 I tend to forget little things unless they are connected to pictures or a bunch of words.
You can’t kill Sean!!!!!!!! He is too awesome to die!!!! Surely you can kill someone else in his place…please?!?! 🙂

Building off of your idea, @Hope… an evil baron with an allergy to broccoli.
A brilliant leader obsessed with spaghetti.
An evil scientist who has a soft spot for frogs and macaroni.
A weak, timid protagonist who has an uncontrollable affinity for any and every reptile in existence.
Something along those lines? You’re right— that would be…[Read more] -

Very nice, @Daeus. 🙂
No actually, that sounds pretty good, minus the second-to-last sentence. 😉 I like the idea of a curve ball being thrown at Anna in the form of changing/updating the Enigma. That would really make her need to think.
@Hope! You can’t kill Anna’s father! I will cry! Who is the other young rebel who dies? Not Sean, is it?

@Joy-Schmidt I wouldn’t know about older siblings, but regardless of that I agree with you…no cape for @Hope. At least, not outside of the house. 😉

Hi! Shame on @Hope for never telling you…
I guess if it were a younger sibling, I wouldn’t care. But my older sister? Am I just being silly here?

Welcome, Joy! Glad to have you. I didn’t know you did any writing at all. @Hope never told me (naughty her). 😉 Three books…that’s awesome!
If Hope were my sister, I too might be slightly…hesitant…to let her wear a cloak out of the house. But then again, my ten year old brother has a cloak that he wears everywhere…
I love your profile…[Read more]

(@hope What I gave you should be enough. This isn’t so much a riddle as a chance to make a fun comparison between one of your characters and a famous literary character. It’s fine if you don’t want to do it though. I was thinking myself that we should probably come to a close soon after this.)

(@hope Are you not sure how this works, or are you just anxious to get past this part and get off the island? -Or something else?)

Ha! The Howling Frog! Love it. So fun. 😀
I like The Screaming Falcon, too, @Hope. Nice and dramatic. I like both the funny and the sophisticated ones. Once I used ‘The Leaf and Thorn’ when I didn’t want to go for the humorous twist.
Great job, both of you. All of those would definitely qualify as inn names.

Yeah. Okay. I like that. We could do that— the piece of cloth. So does he lose it or give it up?
@Hope— he changes as far as I know. 😛
So here’s a question. What makes him change? Is it Alex? If so, how?

Hmmm. yeah! @hope ! She’s the oldest of 6 i think… but she was the only child for a while (before her adoptive dad got married and she became a big sister suddenlyxP) and her main quirk is she’s very possessive of her daddy, a bit immature and she loves to climb and stuffxP
@Ivy in this story, the MCs’ family is mostly adopted. They only have…[Read more]
