@theducktator From what I remember it’s the neck (Jugular vein and carotid artery) or thigh (Femoral veins)
Both will cause the victim to bleed out, if that’s what you’re intending. Anywhere else will just cause them pain. Of course, you could always aim for the eye if you want to hurt them severely but not have a near-100% kill…[Read more]

@eveln-collins yay you’re back!!
and haha, forget timelines this is fanfic we’re talking about! I saw you were rewriting it.
The next part’s pretty good so far. Maybe have her lead the droid into one of the actual cells and just lock it in there so it can’t sound the alarm? she could say something like “wait a minute I think it was the door to…[Read more]

@rae LOL that’s happened to me. My brother has a male character named Eirwen (who I named), and I learned shortly after naming him that’s a female name, but it’s exotic enough that I suppose not a lot of people will notice.

@ellette-giselle @theducktator @whalekeeper whoaaaa I didn’t mean to start a HP fight in the replies, I was just stating why I personally don’t trust it. I don’t think any of you are like, evil or anything for reading it.
but I would agree with what whaley says on the “Are the books basing off real magic, or are they just fantasy with cool…[Read more]

@linus-smallprint For me, it would depend on what the books have in them. Do they just have characters with cool powers, or are there actual magic spells being used in them, even if those particular spells are fake?
A good example is Star Wars compared to Harry Potter. Both have magic systems I’ve seen Christians complain a lot about. This is my…[Read more]

@linus-smallprint ooh! Stripe is certainly interesting. I’d love to see where he goes in the story. Kunulfs are really cool.
oh, and your thing about puns being lost in translation was hilarious. I like how the narrator, whoever he is (or she? It feels like a he for some reason), is actually addressing the reader sometimes.

yeah I’m keeping Crosshair here because he’s been in here for what, three years now and I greatly enjoy writing him. Feather’s out though, just because I wanna stick with one character for now and might save the slot for a charrie from another WIP or something.

Sniper and Huntress wouldn’t even know what a podcast is lol…..their home universe is in an alternate 1970’s right now, as opposed to yours in the 2000’s somewhere…..
they’d probably be like “whut?” and then like “ohhh, you mean like a radio show, but recorded”

@theshadow ahahaha that’s too funny
if it were me, my first thought would’ve been “maybe we’ve been brought here like Aslan brought over the cab driver and his wife in The Magician’s Nephew to be the human rulers of Narnia, and each pair will be the progenitors of a country/species/whatever”
proof that I’m a weird literary choice person…[Read more]
