Thankfully Derek’s is actually something I want to do. I have a different story and there’s this character who says he’s gonna need to be killed off and I don’t want to do that. XD but unfortunately he’s probably right

Yeah, I’d rather not have God misrepresented either.
Interesting, I tend to assume that God does exist in the story even if they don’t mention Him. (Unless the story obvious contradicts that, or later contradicts it)
