Yes, I’ve been picking up a lot of my old projects lately.
Thank you 😉 I’m not absolutely certain, actually. You see, the phoenix storyline is meant to be apparent from almost the beginning, but the other prophecy doesn’t really come to light until a while after – since most of the story takes place in Farless, not Hebel.
So, in conclusion, I haven’t decided 😅

I just figured out like so many things about Keiryn today 😯 like so many!
And I got to write a scene with Tauren and Lelsi hangin out eating Alisha’s blueberry muffins 🤣 I need to have a scene where Tauren runs inside and comes out with a spoon of frosting. Like that’s just the kind of thing he’d do.
And I got to write some stuff of Layson! I’m super excited about it, I think I’ll have some of it here
For those of you who have read some of my book, this is not too far from where it left off, just um without some explanation XD
How do you guys feel about having a draft of your book on the internet? I’m not so sure about it anymore, because literally anyone can see it, not just yall. Here’s a little piece of it though:
Layson pulls his bag onto his shoulder with a heave.
It doesn’t even feel real.
The weight of a few belongings and a few days’ worth of food pull down on his back far more than any average load. Layson turns towards his mom’s full-length mirror leaning against the wall. He sighs.
Am I really ready for this?
He shifts his heavy boots on the already dirty carpet. Looking across, he squints at his reflection in the mirror. Layson pulls his hair back into a bun and presses his hardhat on top.
Well, I’m not getting any kind of easy start in this world, that’s for sure.
Trail by fire, that’s what they call it.
I’ll do it.
Layson smiles, a determined expression growing over his face.
This isn’t a punishment. It’s what I was made for.
Layson turns towards the door.
“Sorry mom.” He looks up, barely meeting his mom’s gaze. She pauses from her task of cutting onions in the kitchen.
“You don’t have to apologize. It might not be the choice I or your father would have made… but you did nothing wrong.” She walks out into the living room.
“Nobody should be punished for helping people. It was wrong of them.” She sighs looking down at the floor.
Layson nods. “I want to be a releaser.”
His mother pauses, slightly shaking her head. “That’s one dangerous job.”
“Yeah… but think of all those people… just stuck, locked inside there bunkers. Because of some age-old leftover hate. I mean that war was sooo long ago. I’ll never get it.”
“It’s hard for me to not know what’s going to happen… but I’m here to support you whatever you do.” She smiles, blinking back tears.
“Thanks mom. I’ll write you sometime if I get the chance.” Layson grips his bag straps.
“Your welcome. Please do if you can.”
“Oh—and If I don’t, I could just be like procrastinating or something—don’t assume I’ve died.”
“I think it’d take quite a lot to kill you or your enthusiasm.” She laughs. “Try to keep that.”
Layson smiles. “I will.”
You guys are free to make guesses about what happened XDXD

also yea I used to be super paranoid about sharing my stuff too but I’m not really worried about it now because 1, there’s like a 00000000000.1 chance that someone’s going to come on here just to steal my writing…. Ya know?

Lol yeah I didn’t share that bit, Layson helped the adjacent bunker (east hills) because they had been targeted by a extremist group and were lovked in from the outside. He broke the lock to do so, because helping them meant leaving for a short period of time. So yeah lol there was a trail too decide if he shoould be kicked out because they don’t want people going back and forth, and your not supposed to leave. Lol yeah. So his punishment of having to leave is considered certain death by many… but is it? 🤔

About the sharing your writing thing: I’m not necessarily worried about people stealing my ideas (if the Lord wants me to write the story, I’ll do it, not someone else), I just don’t know if sharing drafts on here makes it harder to get published in the future…which besides the fact that I barely have any of it written, is why I’m not currently sharing my fantasy story. (I probably need to research about that first before I share it on here) But I’m totally fine with sharing the fan-fiction cause I know I won’t be able to publish it unless I wanna get sued… XD
