@gretald The two historical fiction books I’ve read by Sir A.C. Doyle were “The White Company” and “Sir Nigel”. “Sir Nigel” is actually first (they are a series), but was written second. I read them one right after another and I could see that, but it didn’t bother me much. 🙂 I actually don’t know if he wrote any others.

@daeus Awesomesauce! Thanks for the great critique. What you mentioned about “the round about way” is a downfall in my writing and life. Mom says I flower everything up when it can just be stated plain and simple.

@gretald I’ve seen those! Fireproof is my favorite; Courageous is too sad, and I was so mad at the ending because Shane was my favorite character. @gretald Haha! That sound worth reading. My favorite is Henry V, mostly because of Pistol and the Welshman. And it has a happy ending, unlike the tragedies. I know Hamlet was supposed to be sad, but I thought it was very funny. It’s probably my second to favorite one.
