@bluejay, Sorry, I’ve never read those books (I need to), so I can’t exactly help you…

I’ve read (well, listened to) Little Women and read Anne of Green Gables (but just the first book), and I loved both of those! And I LOVE SHERLOCK HOLMES!!! What are your favorite novels/short stories? Wow, I was not aware that A. Conan Doyle wrote historical fictions! I’ll have to check those out. 🙂

  • @rebulutoinary
Some of my favorite books are Lord of the Rings, the Harry Potter series, the Inheritance Cycle, the Percy Jackson series, To Kill A Mockingbird, and The Giver. I’m probably forgetting some…oh and the Wingfeather Saga. 🙂 I’m a big fantasy fan, if you can’t tell. 😉

I love, love, LOVE AP Language! It is so fun (well, most of the time 😉 )! We’ve been learning rhetorical strategies and writing (a LOT) and reading a book called “Hunger of Memory.” So far, I’ve learned how to analyze texts better and write better. 🙂

It seems that I need to read Henry V and the other historical Shakespeare plays. 😉 What are all the Shakespeare plays you’ve read? I’ve read Julius Caesar, Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. 🙂

  • @kate-flournoy
Thanks for sharing your thoughts/observations/stories/writing tips! 😉 Our family went out west a couple years ago, and it was a lot of fun! I agree with @daeus that going out west (or anywhere else, really) makes me thankful that I live in Ohio. I couldn’t stand living in a place with no fall colors (like in California–well,…[Read more]

    1. I have five dogs (and one of them is named Toto after The Wizard of Oz). FALSE

    3. I never eat food. (Just kidding about #3…) Here’s my real one: I have been skiing down a double black diamond hill before when I was new to skiing. TRUE

So #1 is the lie. I have three dogs, and none of the…[Read more]

Hello and welcome to…(wait for it) the BESTISTEST PLACE ON THE INTERNET. Sorry, I had to do that, even though it seems you’ve already received that greeting multiple times already. What are some of your favorite books?

Just so you know, everyone, I haven’t been ignoring you if you mentioned me; I’ve been realllllyyy busy with school and everything (Junior year *sigh*), so I haven’t been able to respond. I’m catching up on notifications, though. 🙂

    • Life gets busy as you get older, doesn’t it? 🙂 I hope it slows down a little for you soon.
Okay, I can’t help it. What are you holding in your profile pic? I am so curious. 🙂

      • Yeah, life sure does get busy when you get older. Thank you! I appreciate you saying that, Sarah. 🙂
I’m holding a roasted starburst on a stick. My cousins came for my birthday this year, and we had a bonfire–s’mores and everything. But one of my cousins doesn’t like chocolate, so she roasts starbursts instead, and I was trying a roasted…[Read more]

        • A roasted starburst?! Wow. Did it puff up like a marshmallow, or did it just melt? Maybe I will try that one time. We used to do campfires a lot, and my brothers would try roasting their chips and watermelon. It never turned out very well. Our worst experiment, though, was flaming a marshmallow and then extinguishing it in a snowbank. It didn’t…[Read more]

          • It just melted, but it was hard on the outside and gooey on the inside…yum. 😛 Haha! That kind of marshmallow sounds gross. XD I will be sure never to try that. 😉 We once blew up a marshmallow in the microwave…and then ate it. 😀

Hey! Welcome to the bestistest forum on the internet! Just a warning: we are a bit crazy here. 😉

You’re not at all crazy for liking Shakespeare! I love Shakespeare (but there is a possibility that we’re BOTH crazy 😛 ). What are your favorite plays? I love Much Ado About Nothing and Macbeth. A Midsummer Night’s Dream was…[Read more]

Nice list! Of the ones you listed, I’ve only read the Wingfeather Saga, which is absolutely amazing! A friend of mine gave me Bruchko this year for my birthday, but I haven’t gotten around to reading it yet. I guess I’ll have to remember to read it during Christmas break! 🙂

  • @Rebelutoinary
Hullo (I prefer the British spelling of “hello” 😉 ) and welcome to…the bestistest place on the internet (you didn’t see that introduction coming, did you? 😛 )! Cool, I’ll have to check out your blogs! 🙂 What are some of your favorite books?

I’m doing well. Yeah, school is stressful this year…still fun, though. 😉
No, I wish! I couldn’t fit French II into my schedule this year. 🙁
I’m taking just Physics with Landry and with other online schools Mythology, Latin III, AP English Language (LOVE THIS CLASS!!!), and Pre-Calculus, and then I’m doing History at home. 🙂
