A realtor is basically just a book store, except for e-book realtors, they are an online book…[Read more] -

Princess Academy sounds fascinating. And the surroundings symbol is a really good idea. And…
It’s not so easy for our brave, courageous hero to walk around with their great-grandmother’s lace croquet pillow and still look fearless.
That so totally made me laugh.

Okay, I think this topic merits reintroducing. 🙂
New thought on this. Sometimes, symbols can be used to actually tell the story.
Let me explain. I’ll use an example because I have no idea if this kind of… thing… has a technical term.Say we have a fantasy world where each and every single person has a candle— lit and burning from the…[Read more]

You do everything or contract what you want, you have complete control of everything, you can do whatever you want, you make or break yourself and all of your mistakes and all of your victories rest on you. It is an incredible opportunity. A little scary, but the opportunities for success are way broader than the opportunities for failure. The…[Read more]

Absolutely, and get your work edited as much as possible. You never know what’s wrong with your story until someone else tells you, but once you have heard the same thing several times, you start to break through the mental barriers and realize in clear terms exactly how you really should be writing.

Hey I just wanna say something really quick.
If you want to write good books, read good books. You can learn twice as much from reading one well-written novel than from reading a dozen books on how to write that kind of novel.

I use scrivener. I’m not sure how it compares with Storyist, but I think you can make notes for yourself similar to what you are talking about. Honestly, I hardly use any of scrivener’s features.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done…
