@Ethryndal (I had no trouble spelling it @writefury. Nyah.) I’m late so I’m going to squint and pretend no one else is here
Welcome to the bestiestiestest place on earth! We’re all mad here. *cat grin* BTW that quote has been used so much on here. I wonder if someone could count them all.
I. Want. To. Be. An. Elf. I. Love. The. Lord. Of. The.…[Read more]

Heya, @Ethryndal! (man, congrats on a hard-to-spell name. *gives you a trophy*)
I’m Rosey or writefury or ‘hey you’. Whatever you want to call me. The resident ghost ship.
A little insane, huh?

You’ll fit right in, girl.
Welcome to Kingdom Pen. *salutes*

@ethryndal Actually he didn’t. At least not right then 😀 Furthermore, he’s my best boy friend (emphasis on the space between the words). Once I need a blood sample for science, and he said “Hey, I bet I can make my nose bleed!”. So he smacked himself in the face and sure enough his nose began to drip. And me, being the cold hearted scientist that…[Read more]

Hello there @ethryndal! Welcome to the Kingdom 😉
I am the resident pirate… and I do have a sword… or two.
Not to brag or anything *smirks*
Anyway, I’m also a Tolkien, Narnia, and general all around Fantasy fan. 😛
See you around!

@hope – That’s okay. I’m at my grandma’s house, and I can always reload on sweets here. You are right about the extra words. I still haven’t gone home yet, so no writing been done today, so I might only have the evening to write. Ah, what’s another late night in the grand scheme of things. I think my whole life has been training me for NANOWRIMO.…[Read more]

I’ve been studying up on theme. Especially in movies. So I was wondering if you could give: Two movies that have, in your opinion, extremely powerful themes. If you could also give why those movies have such great themes or how they made the theme awesome then that would be even better.
Now I’m not talking about themes like “Peace is better than…[Read more]

Now I’m not talking about powerful themes like “Peace is better than war because true peace isn’t tainted by man.” That’s a decent enough theme. Great even. But it isn’t necessarily powerful…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy – True about human people. Hee hee. I mean my evil is not a presence/spirit, but a real person with the qualities that human’s normally have.
@kate-flournoy @Daeus – It is so much more interesting to write complex people for villains. @hope had a writing prompt on twitter or pinterest about a villain who is working undercover in a…[Read more]

@anne-of-lothlorien Definitely human. I feel that they can be more complex and rounded that way, not just an average badguy.
And about your lunch, that is hilarious! Although it’s probably not something I would do, it’s still funny. I’d probably say something snappy (hence Dragon Snapper). And yes, I did ask the question, and I can hardly write…[Read more] -

@Daeus – I wonder if my little brother is the same MBTI type as yours. He calls me and my two little sisters, ‘Honey.’ And he’s TWO years old! The other day my five-year-old sister was working on her writing lesson and my little brother took the pen and said, “Honey, Honey, let me show how to do.” he has a very extensive vocabulary. And I’ve added…[Read more]

@anne-of-lothlorien I’m afraid I haven’t had that problem, or whatever you want to call that. I really only talk to my stuff, and other people. My conversations are with my things. Its a good thing they never talk back, though, because that could get interesting.
@writefury Well, my writing is littered with it, though I can use a sentence every…[Read more]

@Daeus, Fencing is cool. 🙂 I believe we use something like a rapier. (We just use practice ones 🙂 ) I have not tried any “add ons” but want to eventually. I haven’t done the class for very long, but really want to continue. 😀 The teacher has his own studio, but he does group days for much cheaper. (So, I would have to spend the money myself…[Read more]

@Ethryndal *rushes in “late”, as usual* But, you see, a wizard is never late, [s]he arrives precisely when [s]he means to. Hello, fellow Tolkien lover! You’ll fit right in here 😉
According to my picture, most people have assumed I am an unicorn, but actually, I am a shapeshifter. No one really knows what my true form is, but many have…[Read more] -

Me too, @ethryndal! Though I don’t have much time to get into this conversation… too bad.
By the way, infp speaking here, and psychology is one of the subjects for which I have a deep fascination. If you guys have any questions, I will gladly share some of my knowledge on the subject with you if you ask.

@ethryndal
Greetings, elf. It is not often we meet one of the fair people. In fact, we’ve not had an elf for a millennia, not that I would know. I’m a dragonling, but not quite as big as Smaug and not as small as @kate-flournoy. No, I’m about the size of the average Night Fury (and that’s saying something, seeing as there is only one Night Fury)…[Read more] -
