A neat and sweet story! When I first read it, it seemed your writing was in a different time zone/tense than the italicized beginning. I come from a photographer’s family, so we have actually used Adobe PhotoShop for years. Unfortunately,  the license went out of date and we got to find out why so many people grump about it. O.O
