Ok, I’m tagging a lot of people for this, but don’t feel obligated to reply.
So, I’ve gotten stuck in my current WIP, but as I work through that slowly, I want to return to an older WIP that I worked on over the summer and really want to refine. It’s only in a first draft, but I’d like to have a critique partner for it.
The type of critique…[Read more]-

I would be willing to try and help with this. You know my views on Romance are rather different than norm, and I believe highschool romantic relationships aren’t healthy. But I’m willing to give it a shot.
I also do edit. I’m not a line-by-line editor, but I have worked as a plot/character/story editor before.
We do have different beliefs on…[Read more] -
Mm. Sounds interesting, but I’m totally unqualified. I don’t think I’d be able to help much… Sorry… 😅😑

I’m sorry, I don’t think I can help you 🙁

Plus, the Bible requires two things if you want to read it. Context, and an open mind. You need history and context to even understand HALF, if not ALL of the Bible.
.
Context and History is all in the Bible. Reading other passages helps you understand other passages.
I would like to add something about t…[Read more]

Ok, I’ll try to clear up the confusion then!
For not understanding, I don’t understand the whole set up of a contemporary non-denominational church. There is no structure whatsoever, and it confuses me greatly. XD
As for structure within the service, this is going to depend largely upon the church to be honest. Our…[Read more]

Ok, cool!
What do you mean by structure? Like within the local, individual churches or broadly, like all of them?

Ok, our family up there lives a little closer to Hartford. I’ll have to let you know the next time we travel up there. It could be really fun!!

I fully believe there isn’t a single human being on this earth who worships Mary.
I mean, like Stephie said, there could be, but I’m not accusing anyone particular of this. I’ve just heard of people treating her that way and wanted to express my opinion on that. : )

@rae
It just occurred to me that it would be totally plausible for us to meet up irl one day. 😳 Even though I live in Ohio, a lot of my mom’s side of the family lives in Connecticut (the state you’re in, right?), and we visit at least every two years or sometimes even once a year. It’s a pretty small state…wouldn’t it be crazy if the next time…[Read more] -

How big is your church? (if you go to church.)
Maybe a little over a hundred? I think? Our old church was smaller though, closer to about 50 or 60 members.
What is one thing you disagree/don’t understand with a different denomination?
I think I could go on and on about this since there are little nuances in different d…[Read more]

Prayers for my family please! A lot of us are coming down with some kind of cold or flu and it’s been just miserable. Especially for my dad—he seems to only be getting worse. /:
