Tagging @kate-flournoy because she is now one of my best friends, and her writing wisdom goes beyond what I think she even knows herself. Seriously, read some of her blog stuff at the Inky Notebook. Amazing.

@dekreel That is such an accurate picture! I remember when I first joined, almost two years ago. I found an entry in my journal that runs something like this… “I’m finally part of the Kingdom Pen forum, after stalking it for weeks and begging for my own email. I have a bunch of new friends, like Kate and Josiah and dragons and elves… they’re…[Read more]

@rochellaine @ingridrd @kaya-young @waterlily @anyone
I need a girl’s name that very unusual and very foreign-sounding. Almost alien. But not ugly. The names I came up with are: Ranwyn/Rhanwyn, Jewyn, Lenwyn, or something similar. Or not. 😛 Anything will do just fine!
And if I don’t use any of those, does anyone know a word in a dif…[Read more]

@supermonkey42 Reading what they said, a Google Doc or separate website would be a good idea 🙂

@supermonkey42 I have to agree, that the stories will get swamped with other comments if they’re in a forum thread, and while that’s awesome, it’s not as organized. A Google Doc would be better, in that regard. A forum thread would still be more accessible, however. Probably we could do a thread with a Doc link in it.
Anyway, Good Luck, and…[Read more]

@sam-kowal @supermonkey42 I guess mine is called “Writerly Adventures” instead of “KP Adventure” now. “KPA” is very vague. I suppose “KPA” is its code name XD

@rochellaine And that brings me to my second idea: Have one topic for the story itself, and an entirely different topic for the comments!
Inspiration: I follow a different forum for a game called The Aetherlight (And no, Aethasians, I haven’t joined yet), and there are several writers who write stories about the game. They have a topic for the…[Read more]

@supermonkey42 😀 Stan approves of this idea
To answer:
1) No, I don’t object, and I think it’s a great idea
2) Google Docs, a webpage, and a topic are all good ideas for this. I think a new topic would be the most accessible for members of the forum. The custom webpage is also epic, but where would the link to that be kept?
3) I can’t think…[Read more]

@ingridrd Two years! *high five* Honestly, this place wouldn’t be the same without you and your wonderful enthusiasm.
… Is your sister also on the forums?!
That’s a good idea! *waits impatiently for October*

@sleepwalkingmk *sigh* Yeah, I know. It doesn’t help that I come from a family of all-nighters.
That’s so cool!!
One more reason to love weekends! Because Dekreel posts another part of the KPA then 😉
@skredder Why thank you! 😀
@aislinn-mollisong Nope, my name is not Jenna. 😛 Thank you, Miss Mollisong! *bows*

@supermonkey42 That’s a good idea! I think they should make a KP topic for it! Not only will they be easier to find, but it will encourage more Kapeefers to add to it! The more stories, the merrier

@dekreel Tsk, tsk. That doesn’t cut it. Authors need a full eight hours too, y’know 😉
I live in Romania 🙂 So I’m 7 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time.
*sighs* Okay. Looking forward to the weekend, then 😀

Wait and SEEEEE!
@gh24682468999 Well, #1: I was tired, and #2: Practically no one except Jenna was in it. That’s what makes it boring. The ending is exciting. XP

The GIF-Hiders: An Easter Story
Part Five: The Cart at the Edge of the Forest
“Wild troll-things?” Jenna wondered to herself as she soared on Kai’s back through the night.

Several minutes later, she was at the edge of the Vivid Green forest, the largest wood on the island. The ankle-high grass shone white under the radiant, full moon (whic…[Read more]
