Ellette Giselle

@esther-c @anyone-else

Actually yes. Just yesterday we talked with my doctor. I’ve been on Doxy since July 27th, and we had labs done again August 14th. I’m feeling better, but my labs look terrible, so I have four more weeks of Doxy before I’m done.

Thx for checking in <3

Hey, I’m open if you ever wanna talk characters. And worldbuilding too, if you’d like.

@ellette-giselle

Awesome.

Probably good advice. I would, but it’s already in his backstory, and I didn’t want to go back and change it now.

And I mostly just lost it when I realized that this, being a modern real life setting, I couldn’t go sort through or make up the customs and laws myself, like I could for nearly any of my other WIPs.…[Read more]

@theducktator

I’ll let you know if I need any extra help! I have your email as well (:

@ellette-giselle

Ah, thank you! This is a lot of helpful information.

Okay, so the kid is in Canada at the time (Quebec) as that’s the family residence. I have found a bit of legal stuff for Canada by now, but haven’t started looking into the American side. This is so beautifully concise (which legal documents are definitely not).

This is…[Read more]

Fabulous! (Co-author hopping in) That’s very helpful.

I will say, the parents do not work for the government. The organization is a “private investigation” style thing separate from all governments like the Pinkertons, although they have worked alongside governments in time of need. (They are connected to the Witness…[Read more]

I am also sorry if my previous comment came off as pushy. I was not frustrated at you at all, I was more curious than anything, and I really wanted to clarify what the conversation was about.

@linus-smallprint

If you want to discuss the actual morality of rebellion, I am open to do so. I am curious to know why some Christians believe it is okay to rebel and overthrow governments.

But yeah, maybe it is best if I talk to someone older. I will see what Douglas Bond says in his books.

That was where I thought the conversation was going,…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle

Ah, that makes sense. The problem of which country would have legal authority was the part that stumped me, and I figured Canada, which leads to nothing because I know nothing about Canada.

@ellette-giselle

What do you think of it as? The meaning?

I don’t know. It’s a cute name to me. 😂

@ellette-giselle

Great sections!

Rory is such a cute name. I love that scene. 😂

@linus-smallprint

Okay, thanks though. Neither do I.

*Uncertain laughter*

@stephie

Hmmm, not a bad idea. I’ll look into that.

@ellette-giselle

Alrighty. =)

Also not certain exactly how an ongoing murder investigation would pan out/effect things, when there’s no clear suspect or solid evidence besides the dad’s work (Parents were…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle

I was reading a different book on my phone. 🙃

@ellette-giselle

Wow. Didn’t expect that.

Great twist!!

@ellette-giselle

So there’s two rebellions? Didn’t realize that.

@ellette-giselle

Well. That was sad.

Poor Amber… and poor Ron. 😢

So was Nathan one of the rebels? And did 210’s explanation mean that the government is on to them? I wasn’t sure if I was reading that right.

@grcr Ok, 🙁 I’ll keep praying

Asking for prayers for myself and my family. My brother’s leaving for college on Friday. 🥺 My parents will drive him down then and the rest of us siblings will stay with my grandparents over the weekend. I’m trying to be excited for him, and I genuinely am, but I’m also going to miss him a lot. He’ll be all the way in Florida (we live in Ohio), so…[Read more]
