Aw, thank you! 😁 It’s your favorite? I feel like I was just handed a medal.
Faramir is my favorite lotr boy and nobody can change my mind 🥰
The photo quality kinda softened his face, but I still agree. He’s such a fun character. He’s almost as much a walking paradox as Aragorn. XD
yesss I love him 😭 I love Aragorn too thoug…

He’s perfect!!!!! WAY BETTER then the movie! I love it!
Yes, Tug and Will are the best. Horses are the first thing I ever learned to draw. Thank you. I’m glad it turned out well. I love how it goes from Tug throwing him to Tug and Will relaxing together. lol.

Yes!!! I can’t believe they cut him and his family out!! I was so sad because I was really looking forward to seeing them in a movie!
I thought of Samerilian characters, but I thought we were sticking with original LOTR. *shrug*
anyhow.

@elishavet-pidyon that’s cool! Yeah, I had fun reading it. It had 131 pages and the text was size 24; contrast that with my latest story, at size 20 text (and coincidentally, as of right now it has 131 pages but is by no means finished. I’d say I have at least twenty pages left, if not much more.)

There are many books that impacted me as a kid, but I’m just going to say Freddy the Pig. They are my comfort books now, and I’ve loved them since I was 6. There’s always at least 3 plot lines going on, and the characters are hilarious and full of personality. They also tie in a lot of what were then current events, like in one, the a…[Read more]

Thank you so much for your input!! You’ve given me a lot of inspiration to draw from and I loved hearing what parts of books impacted you the most when you were younger!

Hey! Someone stole one of my favorite names! lol. (I got it published first. hehe, I win.)
Hmm, I’ve drawn a lot of scaring, but the only character I burned I only drew him with his hand bandaged. Hmm, If you want to give me a description I can experiment and try drawing him for you, and then you could go off of my drawings,…[Read more]

@whalekeeper Yes, you do
I’ve been kinda struggling with the same thing with my character. I can’t decide if I want the realistic scars or the more stylized black burn marks I had before.
My best advice is to look at references (if they don’t bother you), and to draw him a bunch and try new things each time you draw him…[Read more]

*gasp* Wait… do I know this character or not? Do tell. Now.
I’m not sure about different kinds of scars, but I figure if you’re aiming for simplicity, you can draw it in a way that communicates the basic effects of that particular wound. Zuko from AtLA has an obvious burn scar. But it’s not complicated. It’s ju…[Read more]

Hey, I have a similar character! Aint fire related trauma fun?
I guess it kinda depends on your art style. Realistically, burn scars are typically pinkish white, surrounded by a more reddish version of the person’s natural skin color.
Ummm i have more to say but my work break is over now so I will come back later :]
