Leo
He sighed and shuffled back a little more. If this Liko fellow wanted to fix the pipe proper, if he had some clue what he was doing, Leo would be the last person to stand in his way.
Or rather, flop in the way.
“Call me Leo.” He folded his arms under his chin to watch and point his headlamp. Liko seemed to know what he was doing,…[Read more]

Leo
The light in his eyes was vaguely familiar in all the wrong ways. Leo squinted, wrinkling his nose into a grimace. “That’s what the paperwork said.”
The light shifted to his handiwork, leaving Leo to blink away the two suns imprinted on his retina.
“The leak’s stopped.” He said, adding a for now under his breath. A small bulge…[Read more]

Sure, go right ahead! Leo’s never seen an alien before, so that could get interesting (he’ll probably just think he’s seeing things at first).

I think, content wise, they are young adult, even if you could appeal to an older audience as well.

They fell into another awkward lull that Easton…[Read more]

Yes! I’ve watched the one with Gerard Butler in it. I remember it being good, but it’s been a while, so I can’t think of any specific things I liked or didn’t like about it.

@esther-c Thank you very much for your opinion!
I agree: YA really does have things that don’t belong in such an age range. YA can be very disgusting, and I think that’s why so many avoid it. And it’s just so gross that people put such horrible things in that section, because YA typically are teenagers or young adults, and people are the most…[Read more]

I think YA totally works. YA includes more than you might think. In our library, I find stuff in the juvenile section that should be in YA, and stuff in the YA section that I’m little shocked to see, but it def wouldn’t be considered adult fiction.
So yeah, in short, I think your books would be young adult fiction.

I feel like (sadly), my novels are very mild compared to what is usually in the YA section, and that’s another reason why I want it to be YA…the YA books really need better, cleaner, and just more Christ-filled novels

I am advertising Freedom’s Fire as a YA novel, and I wanted to know what y’all thought about that. I def know that my books aren’t middle-grade, mostly because of some content being for older audiences (hinted or even shown…[Read more]

Leo
This crawlspace may not have been the smallest thing he’d squeezed into, but it was clearly trying. He slid a little farther on his back, boots scuffing over the damp the floor. He shifted a bit to try and ease a cramp in his soaked back.
And there it was, showing ghostly white in the light of his head lamp. A broken pipe.
He closed his…[Read more]

Okay, these two are from a recent WIP my sister and I started. It’s sci-fish which is definitely not my typical, but has been fun to play with.
