Okay. So, first off, I was freaked out.
Now, after reading that twice, I’m not.
I mean, how am I going to help you? You don’t even know where I live. And why would you be sending a message on KP during a time like this?
So, I’m going to decided that this is you being horrid, and then tentatively send it and hope I didn’t…[Read more]

*My brother hands me bag a rough draft he’d editted for me.*
“There was so much to mark in that. Have fun”
*I groan*
*My brother smirks* “I love being a holy terror”
My brother “I find so much satisfaction in forceful hand clapping. It satisfies my satisfactions needs”

leon and Julian — Elderstrand (Group 1)
Leon stood and watched the way Ellis fought, trying to gauge the weakness in the creature. Thing. Knight. Whatever it was.
He didn’t have long to stand there. One of the things was coming for him.
Leon ducked a blow a…[Read more]

I understand both your points. However, there are many instances in the Bible when God blessed or rewarded people after they told lies to save the lives of innocent people. Sabina brought up two such instances.
And, God has also told people to withhold truth/miss-lead. Like in 1 Samuel 16
The Lord said to Samuel,…[Read more]

So, I think I can safely say which scenes you have added in and which ones were in the draft. I’ve run into this same problem several times. If my book is more then a year old when I do the re-writes and big edits, you can always tell what I wrote before and what is added. I think our style and skill develops the more we write,…[Read more]

Oh. You are not the first I’ve heard to say that, but I don’t mind that you don’t agree. Sabina does voice my own beliefs however, so I won’t be changing this.
I would be interested in your reasons behind why you don’t agree with her/my reasoning. Though keep in mind I won’t be changing this scene, so if you find it a waste of…[Read more]

This is one of the best ones yet!!
I’m curious, did you write this from scratch, or was it in the draft?
This was super well done, and I like everything about it. (though i did see a typo here and there.)
Very well done.

The Governor decided that if the main part of the city was rebuilt, the work could stop. This left a group of neighborhoods to the east in terrible disarray, and it wasn’t long before only thieves and war refugees inhabited them.

Leon and Julian– Group 1
Leon had his sword drawn in seconds, and before he engaged the first enemy, Julian was at his shoulder. For a moment it was a wild skirmish, and everything was shouts and blows in the dark.
All at once, the fight died away.

Okay, well as long as it’s not bad I’ll keep it. But i will keep an eye on it. Thanks for pointing it out.
Ah. From what you said, I would expect you live on a prairie or in some other open area as well
lol. Yup. Though not so far that it was hard to visit people or have them over. That would be sad.

I’m trying to figure out exactly when they were hurt. I think for Joseph, it was when Asher grabbed his leg, and for Asher, it was when he tumbled into the cobblestones.
Yeah, you’ve got it. But honestly, think about it. Have you ever seen boys play some wild ball/tackle/wrestle/race game? Now put that game on a cobble-stone s…[Read more]

Well, it would depend on if he was serving time in the same part of the country as he’s in now. The smaller the town/city he was in, the more well known it would be. etc.
And also, what kind of job he was trying to get. If he wanted one that payed well then he would need to show his records, and then that would depend on the…[Read more]
