I’m so glad you liked it!
Yeah, it’s standalone right now, but who knows? 😉 I haven’t gotten to work seriously in much of my WIPs, so they’re more like Works Waiting For Progress or something like that.
A sub-series is a good idea! I shall await your return. =D And maybe get some of my homework done. XD

My stories? Yes. This short story is a stand alone, but I have three WIPs. Currently, my goal is to finish a novela by Easter. It’s one I haven’t shared much about, but is pretty close to my heart. Plus it’s a better springboard than a 3 volume epic or a 5 book series. XD
You?

Yay! Like I said, it’s such an intricately pieced world.
Yeah, most of mine are in my head too.

Oh, I liked your story. The worldbuilding and premise was so unique! And the frame story layout was a good touch. Does it belong to a larger story?

Very true. It’s so much fun. XD I would add that we hope if we can connect to a reader’s heart, we can impact them in the long run.

Oh, interesting! I love the Celtic folklore inspiration. Fairies are so creepy. XD It’s a fascinating premise.

@whaley
This sounds fun! I’ve wanted to do a short story contest for a while.
By the by, just to clarify, is it 500 words minimum, or maximum? Also, does it need to be a new story?
@koshka But it’s my darling Language and Diction Experiment. 0.O (But great idea. I might jump off onto my other more scar-central stories though.)

Yeah, life can be rough sometimes. This year has felt like Micah 7:8 in more ways than one. XD I think this poem was kinda trauma processing for an accident I had a few months back. Glad you like it!

Animation? I’m intrigued. That’s so (hates to use the word “cool” like this but brain is jelly.) cool!
Those hands are pretty good. They’re reminding me of the exercises my therapist wants me to do. O.O

Lol, just kidding.
Beautiful! I love seeing your work. And your digital skill is much better than mine. I… Don’t do digital art yet. XD
Also, that first picture of Leon and Adelheide is so sweet. I about cried.

Yes, he is blind. Don’t worry, you didn’t miss any dramatic scenes. 😉 If you read back, you can see we insinuated his blindness earlier. For instance, the conversation between Onnendel and Dwogin about the sunset.
It’s part of his backstory. We’ll explain the it more in a couple chapters. (Hint: Shadow Dread is an illness…[Read more]

Oh, that’s a good bible verse. Sorry to hear about your accident! Are you ok now?
Eeek, I forgot the phone died before I sent in my response. Now it’s very late, but anyhoo,
I’m doing well. Basically, I met concrete and it was not polite. Thank the Lord, the only real injury was a broken bone in my hand. It’s almost normal now. 🙂
