I also don’t want to leave unless we’re banished. If you think contacting Sir. DeGraaf will help, then I would say, try it. Even if it’s just for advice on facing down bugs. Do you know if he knows the current KP moderators?

It would be nice to have a closed community…
I really hope everything irons out here, but I would probably be open to joining another “Rivendale” made of marooned KeePers if this kingdom does crumble away.

First off, that is a splendid parody of that classic Veggietales parody.
Secondly, I join the list of concerned KeePers. What has happened to the most noble Moderators who lead us? What shall our kingdom do without our ruling council?
Really, I hope we haven’t been dropped. And that the Ramms are ok. And the other moderators, like…[Read more]

How… Wow. That’s pretty spectacular. I like it
🙂
By the way, I have this goofy habit of adding dialogue onto the end of what the author writes. Erich was in the middle of threatening to clean the place with his gun before I realized the conversation had changed. XD
Which is probably from how happy I was to see someone…[Read more]

Whaley and Ducky have great advice! *takes notes* I don’t have much practice with fiction in this department, but this is a great question, so I’ll share my thoughts.
I’ve been with a few people in the days or even hours before they died, but they were all very ill and usually could not communicate. However, notes from what I have heard…[Read more]

Ooooo!!! I love this section!!!
Ok. Callan is a knave, and that was creepy, but well done. This description of him made me laugh:
Callan’s voice sounded like something that crawled out of a swamp.
And November facing someone he fears to protect Ara was AMAZING. And her Uncle is fantastic. Being a PK myself, I loved his c…[Read more]

*Sniff*
That’s beautiful. I love how realistic his theme is. I wish more books addressed the need to love God first. Knowing God is the deepest, innate need of us humans. But it’s too easy to see that on paper and not draw it out in real life.
What really crushes me about the situation he’s in right now, is that when he sees…[Read more]

Ok. You about made me cry.
That is so sad. I can see November’s motives so clearly that it’s painful, because it’s just… So true, and yet so, so wrong. Riven is using the truth to tell a lie. And poor, sweet November is caught in the middle. Riven using affection to manipulate November breaks my reader-heart.
I could pound…[Read more]

Jaybird replied to the topic Could you survive in your story's universe? If not, why? If so, how? in the forum Topic of the Week 1 year, 5 months ago
It would definitely depend. Lol.
In Eirtan, I would stick out like a sore thumb, but the people are very nice. They might laugh at me, but one or two of the more respectable people would help me out. As long as I avoided Raiders and Dorwains and didn’t drown or suddenly become alergic to sheep, I would be fine. If I met up with the…[Read more]

Aw, Hugo.
Viktor
It was nice to be part of a group. The chipped plaster work on the ceiling smiled down at them from between florescent lights. Viktor adjusted his bag with a smile.
He would have offered to lend Lois his books, but he was relieved when Hugo had. Viktor had notes scribbled in the margins, and his…[Read more]

Those are splendid. XD I love it. That is pretty accurate. In cannon, Viktor almost gets arrested for existing in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hehe.
@ellette-gisselle Well, considering Leo is an international outlaw…. He’s probably seen the inside of prison a few times, if only in his dreams. XD

@whalekeeper Oh no! That is a valid excuse. I hope you’re feeling okay. I’ll be praying for you.
Concerning the characters…
Viktor
A pleasant chime sounded from the depths of the library. Viktor smiled slightly.
Then he realized the others weren’t smiling. Hugo sighed.
“You better check your schedules. This might be an unlucky…[Read more]

I need to write too. XD
Actually though, I’m trying to make my writing itself be consistent. I’m finding it hard to keep a balance of action/description/dialogue. That makes it even harder to write, because what I do write doesn’t even sound like the same book. Or needs a lot of action to connect it, but not summed up, sped through action like…[Read more]

AHH! Godly is here!
*Hugs*
What do we have here? A November scene?!
*Excited reading*
*Meets this Callan and his cuckoos.*
Who is this creep?
*plots to cause him destruction*
*finishes reading*
Aw, November, it’s not your fault, dearie.
Great section! Grammatically, the writing is rough, but the scenes flows well. Vivid…[Read more]
