Ok, so now my characters are in an interesting predicament, as I’m trying to get a former hand on both of them.
This may get most interesting.
Alyona
“I… I … don’t. I’m…” the stranger fumbled for words, becoming less formidable by the second. A draft blew down the passage causing Alya’s light to dance and the…[Read more]

Okay! I do kind of want Alyona and Viktor to join the group again. Partially because there may be some interesting potential yet to be explored there, and also because I almost want to see what would happen if my protagonists run into my Villain. As far as I know, they never do in the books. Or rather, when they do, it’s like…[Read more]

Of course!
Alyona Mynclais, second MC/central side character
3 cubits in height. XD okay, maybe that’s a little bookish. I’m still world building y’all!
So, 5′ in height, with dark hair and eyes, she is twelve at this point in the books.
I haven’t taken her personality test yet, but this is what I know. She is loyal to her…[Read more]

Yes, the castle has basically come under the government of my villain, who may show up again soon. So, in a way, my characters “know” more about this castle than anyone else… except they don’t, because I didn’t make this castle. 😉
Alyona and Viktor could and probably would show you to the kitchens. They know their way around here…[Read more]

Bwahahaha! I love how all these characters interact. XD
Alyona
A gasp leapt into her mouth. This person wanted to help them?
A mere glance showed her to be between Viktor and herself in height, but this wasn’t what struck Alyona.
The girl was dressed in rags. Brightly dyed rags, but still not very adequate.…[Read more]

Viktor
They gained the out leading corridor, passing side halls with rapid succession. Soon there would be a narrow window and they’d have some light.
How he hungered for that light!
Their pursuer was still there, but much less frightening. He nearly scolded himself for bolting in the first place. Nearly.
As…[Read more]

Okay, so it deleted my response, I don’t know if the original will pop up later as well, but I’m going ahead and posting this, since I thankfully have the story part saved.
I also don’t know how well this one worked out, but here goes!
By the way, Milla sounds nice! Unfortunately, she has a talent for spooking…[Read more]

So, I’m not sure how well this one worked out, but here goes!
Milla sounds nice! Unfortunately, she seems to have a talent for spooking my charries. XD It’s not her fault though.
Viktor
They were close, so close. He could feel the draft from the approaching door.
Thankfully Alya hadn’t been injured in her…[Read more]

Elishavet Elroi replied to the topic You have the ability to read a book for the first time again… in the forum Topic of the Week 2 years, 6 months ago
Hmm, that’s a hard question. There are so many books I’d like to momentarily forget the plot twists of so I could enjoy the surprise again. Especially when listening to these books with other people and trying not to spoil anything.
Just off the top of my head, though, I’d say the Wingfeather Saga, The Green Ember series, or the…[Read more]

Ugh. Talk about the author’s/reader’s nightmare. I avoid watching any movies based off books I love – even if the author helped direct it! XD
For my first series, they would definitely make up some love interest characters, maybe even change one of my character’s backstory from having lost a sister to having lost a, well not a sister.…[Read more]

Allegories!!! (As opposed to allergies which is what auto correct wants to change it to)
First off, hooray! Go for it!
But now on to business. (Or perhaps better described as a long rambling of my thoughts)
What are my favorite allegories?
I like Biblical retelling type allegories, but as I don’t know what specific type you’re doing,…[Read more]

Viktor
They would not get his sister. He would not let them. They would suppose she was a truant slave. They would punish her for assisting intruders. They…
They would look past her Yartassite upbringing and see her Eirtanian blood.
But no, Alyona wouldn’t be the one to…[Read more]

Ah, now your books are sounding even more intriguing. The very idea of having different countries based on the different eras of Rome is amazing. And then you have the tribes of Europe and Britton, and…. I want to read it, like, now. 😉
Your books sound so interesting! I look forward to hearing more about them.
Thank you! I’m…[Read more]

Oh, that’s interesting. Elishavet (אלישבט) is actually one of the original forms of Elizabeth, so you could say that Elizabeth is derived from Elishavet. 😉 I love both names though.
Play writing is loads of fun, and doing it with family is even better. We used to perform skits with our out-of-state cousins e…[Read more]

Greetings and welcome to KP! I’m called Elishavet around here, and I too mostly write fantasy. I love historical though, as long as it’s reasonably accurate, being a bit of a history nerd. (If that’s a thing) I’m a Bible Quizzing homeschooler either from Texas, The Wood Between the World’s, or one of my own worlds.…[Read more]

Alyona
There was still nearly a serving left in the pot. Alyona had taken her bowl to the pot to pretend to fill it, but to her shock, she found there was still stew.
How…?
Before too much suspicion could be raised, she scooped up a bit and topped off the bowl. Then she cut a goodly piece of bread and handed the meal…[Read more]
