@whalekeeper @loopylin ugh that happens…..
wings of fire book 13 blahhhh(Seriously though, the rest of series was good, and thought there was a bit of that stuff in the previous books so I really shoulda seen it coming, it was mostly in the form of jokes so I didn’t take it seriously)
So when I recommend the series, because it’s still…[Read more]

@esther-c @savannah_grace2009 Inappropriate stuff?
Nothing I’ve seen that’s really bad. Worldbuilding wise, some things they say can get weird if you look too close at it……For example someone mentions “star and planetary alignments” in one sentence, but tbh that’s been so overused in so many fantasy stories, I shrugged it off, not really…[Read more]

Paxton
Paxton looked on a bit confused at the exchange between the two boys but also curious. He giggled a bit as Lukas stepped toward him, ears still tinted pink, sighing in exasperation.
He blushed a bit more at Paxton’s giggle, giving him an incredulous look.…[Read more]

@every-one else who commented on here gave such good advice as I’ve struggled with this myself!
I don’t know if it helps but in one WIP I had to set aside for the time being (it was too complex, needed to take a step back to reorganize later), my God-figure was included like you demonstrate, but was treated more as an enigma or…[Read more]

@evelyn-collins kinda random, but are you planning to have the other members of the Bad Batch show up anywhere? Like either in flashbacks or as part of Leo and Rylan’s journey? And will they have children of their own? (Obviously Omega won’t lol, and I feel like that’s not Echo’s thing either)
(Oh, and a little tip–usually when I write…[Read more]

Tech
Sir Tech?
He’d had a lot of nicknames before, but never once had he been called “Sir.”
He focused his attention on the figure standing before him, his eyelights dimming so as not to blind the young human. “So you are Alpha? Ru has said several good things about you.”
The knife in Alpha’s hand reminded him of Hunter’s, or maybe the…[Read more]

@savannah_grace2009 Same!! The books aren’t the greatest I’ve ever read, but I love some of the worldbuilding.
oh btw, book 9 is when she finally makes her choice, if you don’t mind the spoilers. I won’t tell you who she chooses though.

(Not today, though, unfortunately. I have to get off after this so I won’t see it until tomorrow or so)

@evelyn-collins I’ve heard that, and yes, that theory certainly fits him.
I personally think it might, and if it doesn’t, I think just having her with the habit but not know where it came from is a great idea lol
