(*dances for joy* Seriously, just talking about my Biblical fiction trilogy makes me incredibly happy… XD)
So, with my trilogy about Simon Peter, I decided to break up the story based off of the pivotal moments in Peter’s life. Book one ends at the point where Simon proclaims that Jesus is the Son of God. Book two ends on the day…[Read more]

Thanks! @koshka
I make up my names, but based them on Spanish and Japanese pronunciation (the only two languages I’ve ever studied.) As a result, here’s a short list of some of my characters’ names:
Salvárdé, Méyárco, Iéto, Mérar, Shinarvé, Zarvéna, Yáléa, LÃna, Riézon.
I use the Spanish rule that any time there’s an é with the flick over it, i…[Read more]

Trahia the Minstrel replied to the topic Hi, I’m a Christian Fantasy Writer! in the forum Start HERE 4 years, 6 months ago
Hey, @elanor ! Sorry for the late reply.
I made up the name — and then found out that one of my grandfather’s names was Trahier afterward.😂
She’s a side character who occasionally pops up and isn’t on anyone’s side — she’s a minstrel, and it’s bad business for minstrels to pick sides, according to her.
Tbh, she’s one of my favourite charact…[Read more]

Hi, @ lydia-s !
I’m gonna jump in with lines from the favourite character in my book (he’s the best friend of one of my two protagonists):
Character name: Yusīñien Riavoné
“You can see people, M. That’s a gift. Tactics, statistics, the bigger picture … that’s what I’m good at. But you’re good at caring about individuals — all of them. That’s…[Read more]

Hi @morgan !
Thanks for the welcome. In answer to your questions, I don’t have any pets currently, but my family used to own two adorable lop bunnies named Fluff and Dots.
Besides writing and drawing, I love playing with my older siblings whenever they’re home, and telling my little sister stories. I LOVE reading! Mostly anything I can! And I a…[Read more]

Hi! I also struggle with turning off my inner editor when free writing, it’s one of the reasons I’m finding it so hard to write my sequel now that I’ve finished my first book. Swapping back to creative writing from conscientious editing can be really hard.
That being said, I’ve found that when I get new ideas for the story, they’re…[Read more]
