Yeah, ofc!!!
Aww, thank you!!!! I know; I LOVE redemption scenes… I’ll probably end up writing way too many for this series, and only a few will make it into the novels, but I’ll enjoy every minute of it. XD
Yes, I love being able to connect with Bible characters like this!!! It’s fascinating to get into their heads and persona…[Read more]

Agh, yay!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. XD I agree; it’s an awesome setting and basic plot. It’s very unique to have helpless animals armed and fighting dangerous predators.
I LOVED the series! Ember’s End was my favorite book, I think… How about you?

Congrats on getting your book published!!! That is so excited. Unfortunately, I don’t have a blog or social media at the moment, so I won’t be able to take you up on your offer. Wishing you the best with this, though! 🙂

Anne is a phenomenal character, I agree! She’s Lizzie’s opposite in nearly every way, and, although I love Lizzie, I have to say Anne is my fav. 😉 She’s such a sweet, quiet heroine. Plus, another point in favor of Persuasion is Frederick Wentworth’s letter… *happy sigh* 😛
Aww, thanks so much!!! I’m glad you think so. 😀

Thanks for the info!
Thanks for the advice! I have researched and read each article on the blog tour now, I found the links on their Instagram account. Out of curiosity, what are your thoughts in doing an online course for 3 whole years, when it means missing out on an in-person community? I come from a small town, and…[Read more]

I’m so thrilled to share this with you guys!

Eeeeeek! I love Mark of the Lion! It’s one of my favourite book series of all time, now, because of the ending of book 2. That ending … Ah.
I went around for 3 hours after with heartburn ranting about how amazing that ending was to anyone who’d listen.
But yes, I did notice the head-hopping myself, and found it really jarri…[Read more]

Just say the name ‘Bonnifer Squoon’ and I start getting real mad.
He just makes me angry cause it was all his fault everything happened. If it weren’t for him and all the horrible lies he told Gnag and his parents, the whole war wouldn’t have happened. @elishavet-pidyon thanks for reminding me how much I dislike him! I’d actually…[Read more]

Thanks Ava! That means a lot!
How do you sign up to or even find information about the Young Writers Workshop? Nothing on their website is working for me, except the ‘join author conservatory’ page. I wondered if new people aren’t allowed to join right now?

Well, if I do join, I hope to see you there!😃 Don’t ask Brett or anyone anything yet, though — I’m working through my own concepts right now and trying to refine them😊.

They’re basically a writer’s alternative to collage. They teach you specified skills about writing and business skills specific to writing and in general so that you can have a sustainable career as an author. If you want to know more, you should read the link I sent you — it’s pretty informative!😊

Hi everyone!
I’m considering joining the Author Conservatory, and I was interested to know if any of you are in it? If so, what are you thoughts on the program? Things I should know? Pros and Cons? Is there anything you wished you’d known before you joined, but didn’t?
For me, one of the things I’m struggling with is that I have already written…[Read more]

Perhaps I’ll have to give it another go, then, and read past the 1st book.😉

I don’t have a platform that large yet.😢 But I don’t normally like gritty or morbid stories … is your story particularly gritty? I don’t generally enjoy reading depressing things — of course, your story may not be depressing at all, I don’t know.
Is it uplifting?

I’ve read the first book, but not the rest. It didn’t quite hook me enough (this may be a side effect of me reading it as an ebook instead of a printed book). It was a charming story, and I liked the female main … I forgot her name. Heather, was it? The one who had the younger and they both got chased and nearly eaten at the start…[Read more]

Hi! Welcome to the KP forum! I’m Lydia. 🙂 You’re writing about mermaids?? How fun! I’ve dabbled in writing mermaid stories myself! I ended up dropping that project, but it was a retelling of Ariel called Rebel. (Now that I’m thinking about it,…[Read more]
