@elanor I’ve been maybe writing 5-6 years? What about you?
Oo, yes, those books are really awesome! I enjoy being taken for a ride where I don’t know what will happen.

@elanor Lovely movie choices! And yes, Hallmark, does, uh, kind of suck. At least for me.
Those desserts sound delicious! And vanilla is seriously good.
Oo, rocks! What’s the most interesting rock that you have?

@lydia-s I’m glad to hear you love writing so much! And ey, soon to be graduates unite!
Me, I’m going to college for computer science, actually. With a minor in music. I’m not planning on doing any writing classes. I’m hoping to write a lot in my free time, and the dream is to be able to quit my job and become a full-time writer before 30. I feel…[Read more]

@lydia-s That’s so awesome that you want to make writing a career! 😀 That’s so awesome! That’s also what I pursued after high school. I didn’t go to college for it, because I didn’t think that was necessary. I think there are plenty of other resources (books, courses, websites, videos, etc.) that you can learn adequately from without paying as…[Read more]

@anika123 Welcome to the Kingdom! We’re so happy you’re here! I’ve got some questions for you, if you don’t mind.
1. What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of writing?
2, What’s your current work about?
3. What are some of your favorite books/movies?

@elfwing Hi there! Welcome to the Kingdom! I’m Linyang, though most here call me Lin.
Ah, dragons. Is this the type of fantasy that you write? I write fantasy as well, though I stray more towards an urban fantasy. Can you tell me what your current work in progress is about?
Also, beautiful profile picture.

I don’t usually write it down right away. I usually just let it percolate (my favourite word, mainly because its so bizarre) in my head for a while. And if I remember it, that means I’m obsessed with it and that’s when I get a physical notebook and start making notes and outlines for it! Mostly I just forget my ideas, which is fine…[Read more]

@kathleenramm
Cry. Or scream. Kidding, kidding.I’ll either scribble down some incoherent things for my future self to decipher, or I’ll run it around in my brain for a few days or weeks until I feel like I have a coherent idea for me to start developing. And then at some point I start it, leave it for six months, then come back and see where it takes me. - Load More
