I’d have to agree with you on Jane Austen and Robert Louis Stevenson. I’ve read some of their novels, and they’re quite good. I’ve never heard of Wives and Daughters or Elizabeth Gaskill. I’ll have to read her…[Read more]

@adry_grace, Oh, neat! That sounds like a lot of fun. 🙂 For an English assignment one time, I had to listen the conversation of people I didn’t know and make it into a story. We went to an antique shop. It was so fascinating listening to conversations and writing them down (although it was hard to write fast enough 😉 ).

It’s special to me. 😉 Most of my works are, in some way.
And I’m perfectly satisfied with your word for it— after seeing how deeply you scrutinized my ‘Dawn’ poem, I know if nothing stuck out to you that needed fixing in this one it’s probably pretty close to how it needs to be. Thanks so much!
