@kathleenramm Haha! That story sounds intriguing though. I would have totally loved that when I was younger XD
Sooo, once I wrote a story about a girl that was an orphan during world war 1 (or two?). She lived in the alleys, and one day, while looking for food in the local garbage dump, she discovered a world full of fairies and tiny people that…[Read more]

@madelyn Haha! I can definitely be the same way with YouTube XD I try to set a time limit for myself so I don’t lose myself in the ‘YouTube spiral’ XD
Dude sameee about being excited by glass/water/smoke/light/stars etc XDD You would like the book I’m working on probably, because I try to play off of ‘aesthetic’ descriptions like those a lot XD…[Read more]

@devastate-lasting Of course!!! Aww, that’s unfortunate. Have you tried Wattpad? I did that some years back and had a lot of success with it (Sadly, they kept shoving a lot of romance books in my face, so I pulled my books off and deleted my account, but the community aspect of it was a lot of fun, and I connected with a lot of great readers and writers!)

Daisy Torres replied to the topic Which story was the quickest to write and which was the slowest? in the forum Topic of the Week 2 years, 11 months ago
6 years??? I can’ttt. My longest story took me 4 years, and surprisingly, it was a novella XD Later on, I wrote a much longer story that only took me 2 years!
(It’s published now, by the way)Â I still haven’t figured out why one took so much longer, but I entered Crazy Writing Week with the second, where I wrote like 20k in a week, so that mayyy…[Read more] -
Daisy Torres replied to the topic When is it okay to defy the government? in the forum Mission, Calling & Ethics 2 years, 11 months ago
@faith-q That is a very good question, and one I’ve asked myself a few times haha.
To answer your question, I would look in the Bible.
Esther defied Haman, who wasn’t a king, but he was apart of the rulership in the monarchy. She played a major role in having him executed.
All throughout the old testament, (which, granted, things are different…[Read more]

Also, (outside of you) I’ve never heard of Tapas before. Do you recommend it for building an audience/getting attention for your books?

@elanor it’s totally fine XD
It really is amazing!! I lovee books about Ireland and the Sea. And Vikings. That book just hits me differently than other books do, ngl XD
Isn’t it though?? That’s honestly one of the reasons I love writing so much. It’s nice to know that you have a way to help others when they need it.

Tbh, the Lunar Chronicles.
I know, I know, I’m asking for the wrath of a huge fandom by saying this, but it’s true XD I used to really like the series, but upon looking back, it really wasn’t that great. Don’t get me wrong, the settings were creative and amazing, and I lovedddd the idea of a sci-fi fairytale retelling, but I think the only reason…[Read more]
