@kathleenramm When I start feeling discouraged I’ll usually spend some time praying about it and take a short break from writing. I think for me when I’m feeling discouraged it’s usually because I’m comparing myself to other writers or I feel like I’m not working hard enough on my WIP. Usually it’s simply a matter of readjusting my focus.

@kathleenramm I’ve only read two of his superhero sci-fi books and they were all right, but not brilliant. So far, that’s been my impression of Sanderson, all right but not brilliant. I will keep reading though!

My very first novel was about anthropomorphic otters and was a typical revolution type story. I still have it somewhere and I’ve been desperately looking for the USB that has the story on it for months!
