@bluejay I know little about poetry and there are only a few poems I like, but I love this one. The second stanza is my favorite. Plus like the Southern Cali girl that I am, I absolutely love the beach. Great job!

@daeus Haha don’t worry, I won’t stone you. Besides the fact that the actor who plays Kylo Ren looks nothing like Hans or Leia he is such a good villain. Now honestly I don’t really care for Star Wars (Gasp! I know) (Also don’t even get me started on how I feel with Star Wars Land opening in Disneyland) But I really enjoyed The Force Awakens more…[Read more]

@daeus Would it help if I said I like The Count of Monte Cristo a smidge more than Les Miserables? 🙂

@kate-flournoy Haha! I love playing the crazy ones, and I’d also love to be Eponine. But honestly I don’t care what character I get, I just love all of Les Miserables and I already feel like I know most of the characters pretty well. 🙂

@kate-flournoy I’m glad you are reading Les Miserables I absolutely love that book. I’m actually going to be in a non-musical version of the play this February. I’m hoping to play Madame Thenardier.
Anyway, I haven’t read the Hunchback of Notre Dame, all I know of the storyline is the Disney version and that is well… interesting. -

@sarah-h The Mark of the Lion is actually already on my list of to-do-book-reviews. I definitely need to get started on that 😉

Honestly, I have never participated in NaNoWriMo before. Part of it is I’m not much of a Short Story or novel writer. I’ve tried a novel before but I let it sort of fall through the cracks. I’m not good at coming up with stories. (though I do enjoy writing them) Maybe I’ll just take the time to really focus on a good book review or two. Does…[Read more]

@corissa-maiden-of-praise, Hmm, interesting thought on the Hidden Hand. I wish I still remembered more of the storyline so I can discuss so I’m pretty much along the same lines as @daeus.

@corissa-maiden-of-praise, I spot a Lamplighter Fan! The White Gypsy is one of my favorites! I haven’t read the Lost Clue yet. But my friend has it and I need to borrow it. Plus you have read the Mysterious Benedict Society! And you love Odyssey. I knew it just by your opening line. I found a new friend guys!

Christine Eaton replied to the topic Have you read…? in the forum Book Discussions 8 years, 8 months ago
@sarah-h, As far as I can remember the romance doesn’t go in depth. (And I’m rather certain it doesn’t) There might be a little more in the last book, but I can’t remember. However, in some of Francine Rivers’ other books, it tends to go a little further, so I would stay away from Bridge to Haven and Redeeming Love. What you could do is have your…[Read more]
