I did a little Violet Evergarden fan art but I’m not very good. What kind of fan art do you do?
@devastate-lasting @trahia-the-minstrel
Thanks for the suggestions and the heads up.
Yea, JJK is pretty gory at some points. But the art is (thankfully) not too realistic when it comes to those things, and the violence fits the characters…[Read more]

Yes, I absolutely think it is amazing!! And that sounds awesome 😀
(I’d definitely recommend watching the film, it’s incredible:) -

Okay so first of all, I love this! The prologue was very poetic and although it wasn’t evident that the characters were wolves until the line of wolfish pride was mentioned, I thought it was very good. (Love that line btw).
Alright so here’s a weird thing I love looking at in fiction: the weather. I adored the weather and the aes…[Read more]

Yea, I’ve been hearing a lot about Haikiyu. I also heard the dub(English voice over) is amazing.
Do you prefer to watch it subbed or dubbed?Happy to oblige in anime conversation ^-^
Wow, you’ve seen a lot.
I enjoyed Your Name quite a bit, and I’ve been suggested Her Blue Sky before. But I don’t recognize many…[Read more] -

XD You’ll get there.
I was surprised those were his first fictional novels. That’s some Godly inspiration right there.
George Macdonald? I don’t recognize that name. Andrew Peterson quotes him?

Hullo!
@trahia-the-minstrel and I were nerding over anime. I love anime, but there were somehow no anime threads. So here’s one for whoever’s into anime/manga.
I haven’t read a lot of manga, but my brother’s gotten me into the anime hole. And, at the moment, I have no intention of climbing out just yet XD
What anime have you all seen?
Here’s a…[Read more] -

I will look for the rest of the anime/manga then! How many manga are there?
You know some Japanese? That’s so cool!
I’ve heard some Attack on Titan music and (another big surprise) my bro has watched it.

OH YES.
I am happy this exists.@elishavet-pidyon @koshka @keilah-h
It is so beautiful.
XD I’ve ruined so many of my favorite books by reading the end when I’m only halfway through ;-; hlp.
I’m glad Andrew Peterson decided to go with putting that ending in the epilogue. It was smart, the perfect way to carry on the story without the…[Read more]

🙂 Amen.
@trahia-the-minstre
Ah, yes. I have seen that anime. Snow White With the Red Hair is one of my friends favorite anime. My brother (who’s best friends with this girl(my friend)) convinced me to watch the anime (big surprise) for his best friend’s sake.
I enjoyed most of it, the romance was adorable at times. I just wish…[Read more]

I recently exited a season of stress, and even though I’m a loosely-scheduled homeschooler, I know what that’s like mentally.
XD I prolly dealt with it in a somewhat wrong way (more time with friends, and more comfort food than usual) but as soon as I let myself restÂ
maybe cry and very much vent emotionsI simply leaned on Jesus. That…[Read more] -

Oh my goodness, my brother got me to do the same thing. Just with a different anime. It’s called Jujutsu Kaisen, it’s also rated R, but he didn’t bother to tell me that. And he had me watch it. Alone. But it’s fine, the violence isn’t so bad. It was one of those shows that had the right amount of charming humor and a great…[Read more]

That sounds fun. My mom is Texan and she and some of my siblings always enjoyed those types of movies. If you ever visit, be prepared to be assaulted with Chuck Norris memes 😉
Oh, yea that makes sense. It’s kind of sad. I can’t imagine someone forcing me to take my beloved characters and turn their lives against…[Read more]

That’s so cool that The Apostle’s Sister is going to be a trilogy!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 I’m wishing you the best of luck as you work on it!!!!!!!!!!!!🍀
I’ve never written a trilogy before (mostly because I’ve never made it past book one, lol), so I probably don’t have any good advice. I have planned a series before, so the best thing I…[Read more]

I used to read the American Girl books. I didn’t like them all that much, and kind of thought of them as discount–Laura Ingles Wilder books. But I was also strongly against historical fiction, so it made sense I didn’t like it.

Oh, is that like a sequel to Anne of Green Gables?
Somewhat random fact: a woman in my mother’s Sunday School group believes heartily that L. M. Montgomery married Gilbert and Anne because that’s how she wanted Jo and Laurie toe end up in Little Women by L. M. Alcott. It makes perfect sense tho. Anne and Gilbert are (at least in my…[Read more] -

Oof, yea, so to tell the truth, I’m usually blinded by childhood nostalgia when I read books that I had read a while ago.
But recently, my sis and I picked up some old and beloved books, and read them again. Just a small series of short stories, novellas, I think. And boy were they predictable. I was informed abt the ending (cuz I…[Read more]

I’ve been enjoying everything I’ve read so far:) Like, I love in your second character article where you talk about temper and impatience, (it sparked up a new scene idea for my villain. Even though he is on the more nonchalant side of things, he still has anger blowups). And it was fun and relatable reading from your perspective on thi…[Read more]

Thank you! It’s great to be back around on KP:)
You said all that beautifully and I’ll never be able to stress it enough on how much of a relatable struggle it is. But that’s right, you have to write the story that you would want to pluck off your shelf and read. Or else, what’s the point? If you don’t enjoy writing it, the reader wo…[Read more] - Load More
