I always write my RPs in an email draft first, because that used to happen too often and I refused to let it happen again

K! It’ll probably be on a Saturday. *Makes a note*
Question-is this a voice call? (I’m awkward so was wondering rofllll)
It is, but we’re all pretty awkward tbh. :] We’ve done this before and I can safely say the rest of us will not care if you have vocal ticks or don’t know how to carry a conversation.
Also what would…

Summary tiiimmmee
Our characters found themselves suddenly transported from their worlds to the entrance of misty, overgrown labyrinth. Rallascant, a mischievous imp, offered them all a chance to return home. They each have to find a purple crystal ball in the middle of the maze, which will transport them back home.
Some of the characters…[Read more]

I feel weirdly nostalgic reading Ara’s bio, lol. It’s been a while since I’ve read stuff about her.
We don’t have to integrate her immediately-make it more natural and I can introduce her real quick, have her wander around.
That’ll work nicely!

I have plenty of characters for Ara to interact with if we don’t want to make the main group bigger

@godlyfantasy12
Oh my word yes. This is crazy. 🤣 It’s gonna take us a minute to process how to integrate Ara, but we can do this.
@loopylinI can come up with a summary if you want

@godlyfantasy12 Hiiii! It would be so cool if you joined!! I gotta get back to work so I can’t do a whole explanation atm, but if you just read the first couple rps that I wrote, it should explain the basic premise

Glad to help :]
Yeah, it’s a lot of fun to find ideas that way! I understand taking long breaks from roleplaying though. The book’s gotta be written.

Hey guys! Time to talk about this writing zoom call idea. If anyone is interested, please let me know what your time zone is, and when you’re usually free. I’ll try to arrange a time when the most people can get together.
The idea for this call is to have a few writing…[Read more]

He’d bled on the floor more times than he cared to tell her. He hoped she wouldn’t notice more faint stains.
Something had spilled on another corner of the rug. She stopped, planted her feet on the floor, and pointed. “What about this blood?”
Lol, you can’t hide, Gabriel

Mel
The rug under Mel’s feet looked soft, so she sat down on it and began stroking the fur. The voices from the others blurred together in an abstract painting behind her. Something about monsters and home. Her hand sank deeper into the fur and she found herself stuck in the repetitive motion of combing her fingers…[Read more]

Lucille
Lucy took a deep breath of the flowers, and passed some of them to Mel. This sniff test required a two-person court.
While the adults talked, Lucy watched Gabriel quietly, then glanced around the room. She wandered around, analyzing everything, from the table to the many skins.
Something had spilled on another…[Read more]

So you’re trying to present Ara’s world to the reader before the inciting incident happens, and you don’t know how to translate the inner world to the outer world?
If so, wait a minute. We have the same problem. I’m trying to write the same thing. XDThe best I can say is to come up with a meaningful, but normal situation that re…[Read more]

Eek! Lol.
Wilhelm
He had been on the verge of telling Wolfgang that he wouldn’t aim for his sword – Wilhelm’s target would always be his opponent, not a weapon – when the boy vanished.
That door had a rough time of it that night. Wolfgang’s reentry rattled the cups left on their table.
“En garde!” Cried the madcap creature as…[Read more]
