as in like my writing style and choice of characters’ backstories has changed slightly from before.

not too much admittedly, but still.

Gerald handled that. You don’t question Gerald. (if you know you know)

I feel weirdly nostalgic reading Ara’s bio, lol. It’s been a while since I’ve read stuff about her.

We don’t have to integrate her immediately-make it more natural and I can introduce her real quick, have her wander around.

        That’ll work nicely!

          Summary tiiimmmee

Our characters found themselves suddenly transported from their worlds to the entrance of misty, overgrown labyrinth. Rallascant, a mischievous imp, offered them all a chance to return home. They each have to find a purple crystal ball in the middle of the maze, which will transport them back home.

Some of the characters include Fel, a feisty white-haired girl, a group of military-ish hybrids (Sniper, Huntress, and Soldier), a quiet, masked woman named Barnes, and a young masked man named Gabriel. There were more characters, but these are the currently relevant ones.

All of these characters got lost in the maze. Various challenges arose, often frightening the characters, tempting them, or revealing things about them. Monsters also roam the paths, looking for people to kill.

Fel got turned into stone by a basilisk. RIP. But I have a faint hope that she will be resurrected.

Sniper, Huntress, and Soldier have fought several labyrinth monsters. They try to understand this world by comparing them to their own world’s diverse features. But mysteries remain unsolved.

The two masked characters teamed up. But Barnes was captured by the labyrinth’s magic and, by a twist of fate, got her age reversed. She is now a little girl named Lucy.

Gabriel is a pretty bottled up guy who wants to protect people. He found Lucy at the beginning of the roleplay and the two have travelled together.

Lucy later found another lost girl in the maze – Mel. Mel is a little younger and very cute. Everyone loves Mel.

The group just found a door in the labyrinth wall, and it led to a room that looks exactly like a room from Gabriel’s past. The labyrinth likes to mess with the characters’ minds and create “illusions” that reveal things about the characters’ real lives. It happens a lot, and is likely to happen to Ara, if she gets stuck in the labyrinth.

And uh… I think that’s all the basic stuff?

I always write my RPs in an email draft first, because that used to happen too often and I refused to let it happen again

                  Everyone loves Mel.

I thought this looked familiar and then I realized that this is the title of a really terrible movie from the 80’s that was filmed in a theme park I used to go to as a kid. My cousin and I hate watched it together one time. It was hilarious. Fun fact, I guess.

I made a reference to that insane movie without realizing it. This is perhaps one of my proudest moments on KP

@godlyfantasy12 bro I hate when that happens.

I copy-paste my rp’s into google docs or microsoft word when I get the feeling kp’s gonna kick me out. Or just in general, sometimes it fails to reply.

Gerald handled that. You don’t question Gerald. (if you know you know)

                          @rae

                          Sniper

“This was the hydra.” Gabriel handed me the knives, showin’ off the scales on their handles, after pointin’ out the direwolf pelt that he’d made a rug from–the only other monster he’d used to decorate the place. They were bright green and brown, brighter than my own scales. They were also smoother.

Huntress whistled through her teeth as I let her handle one of the knives, feelin’ its weight. “Those are impressive. That hydra’s probably serving a better purpose here than he ever did in life.”

Mel curled onto one of the rugs, enjoyin’ its softness. On the other side of the room, I noticed Soldier doin’ the same with another rug. A loose feather came off his wing and began to glide on the subtle wind current that blew through ‘ere.

I looked out the window and still saw the foggy labyrinth; we unfortunately hadn’t been teleported to Gabriel’s homeworld. Maybe it was for the better given all the beasts he ‘ad on his planet, but at least it woulda been a planet and not a cursed maze.

This was weirder than anythin’ we’d encountered before. This was his home, and yet it wasn’t. Probably some form of faked magic, but it still appeared identical to the real thing somehow.

I wasn’t sure if I liked it very much.

                          @godlyfantasy12
ok so here’s my writing style as of now. Note that this character in particular has a decently strong Australian accent so his words do get a little clipped in writing lol. I don’t write like this all the time, just when writing from his perspective.

and yes I probably always will have a “sharpshooter character with deeply buried self-esteem issues” as a major player in all my fics, between this guy (he’s my boy fr i love him a bit too much) and Crosshair, who you hopefully remember but who hasn’t been used for any rp’s in a while.

Gerald handled that. You don’t question Gerald. (if you know you know)

I haven’t, and I didn’t remember the title. But you talked about it a little when we last called. I might watch it just because that level of bad in a movie is sometimes fascinating

                              Lucille

There was the imprint of a hand, smashed into the wall. Lucy stared at it.

There was something wild there. The damage had been made long ago, but the energy was still there. Life seemed to course through the room, probably because it was made to look as real as possible. It felt very much like the person who had lived in it.

Someone who, maybe, was never fully in control.

Lucy turned to stare at Gabriel.

Yes! I did draw my pfp. His name is Baron, from my current WIP (also my current favorite boi.)

I’ve taken to posting stuff on an art site now, so you can find some of my art there: https://unvale.io/RaE16 if you so desire. 🙂
