Does anyone else get this random specific urge to watch Kung Fu Panda II? Like, maybe once a year, very consistently and strongly?

Character name needed!
Okay, so I have a cute side character. He is from Project Chrysanthemum/Baztet, and he is basically Babs and Marcel’s little brother. He is super scrawny and weak, has fluffy white hair with orange speckles und…[Read more]

I don’t know much about writing songs XD But I still write poetry, so maybe I can help! Do you have a melody in mind, or are you letting the reader imagine it and are instead writing an almost-melodic poem?

Just checking you do have friends, right? Just checking. Because I would be surprised if you didn’t, and very sad.
I have one, not including cousins/ family. I’m super awkward and quiet irl so it’s not too surprising XD
I went to a private Christian school for a while and then homeschooled a bit.

Also you went to, like, real school? I’ve only been in a homeschool group.

XD No. It’s a Disney cartoon that has just two seasons. It has fun characters and a really well planned out story with a good ending.
Good to know.
It also has a really weird sense of humor which I really enjoy, but I’m a bit strange so…
That’s the best kind of humor XD
No 🙁 I only saw the first before we got rid of Netflix…

totally fine to rant lol. Yeah, idk what Marvel’s going to do. The killing off of characters was necessary imo in order to have such a well deserved ending, but that’s just it. It feels like a ending. It’s titles endgame lol. I’m not sure they’ll ever have the same highs of the characters that are gone :/
Like idk… how are they going…[Read more]

XD And people tease you about looking at boys or talking about them, and you are genuinely confused because you obviously don’t feel that way.
I was hardly ever teased in school, actually.
…Probably because I accidentally developed a permanent death glare in middle school and wore it all the way through to jr year. Accidentally s…[Read more] -

Right. Someone I was talking to was like, “there always has to be a reason!” And I’m like, “uh, sinful nature.” Yes, this character has daddy issues, but I’m not going to reward him for his selfish attitude, I’m going to call him out for it and punish him in-story. Even a person with perfect parents and a loving environment i…

I think people tend to forget that humans are irrational. We don’t always do things that make sense. So writers try to rationalize their characters’ bad behavior by giving them tragic backstories.
(Maybe? Idk, just a theory)

Like Gravity Falls! (Have you seen it? It’s the best) You never even see the parents’ faces.
Oh, like with the Peanuts? I haven’t watched it, but I might now that you’ve recommended it. Hilda became a hit in our household, and I was watching it a couple nights back when I first got sick, trying to catch up XD Off topic, but did you see…[Read more]

YES, this. I’ve tried to explain this to some people and they don’t get it for some reason.

I’ve always liked your characters, and I never knew anything about their past. They’re interesting enough without that 😉
Awww thanks :]

I also like emphasizing in my stories the fact that people don’t need trauma or terrible tragedy in their lives in order to struggle with sin. Everyone has problems to overcome, even Average Joe with his calm, happy, suburban childhood.
