@Dekreel all the reasons I blog can be summed up into one reason:Â I’m building relationships.
Part of the relationship building is to have a platform, but even that is a matter of building a circle of friends who will help you and encourage you and whom you can help and encourage.
I don’t blog for myself. I blog to make relationships. To meet…[Read more]

I consider my job done if I make someone cry.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I can’t wait to start writing the first chapter.
I can hang around for a bit and chat, but I am a lucky thing and I am going to a writers festival today and will need to leave soon!

Well, I don’t know, but I’ve read another one of Robert Elmer’s books and I was really happy with the accuracy, so I trust him 😀
Very true, we’re getting a bit off topic.
Well, that’s not true, I also know that you had a revolution and wouldn’t take England’s convicts anymore and that’s how they ended up in Australia. I’m a bit…[Read more]

That’s true, it just serves to make the behemoth a laughingstock.
We brilliant people have something referred to as a lounge which is usually approproately placed in the loungeroom. 😃

Oh, its a very common term to refer to Australia, presumably because its down under the rest of civilisation. Its not offensive, but whenever I hear it used it just strikes me that the person has no idea about Australia and is relying mostly on stereoypes.
People were transported to Australia for almost no reason at all and they…[Read more]

A very small and weedy sapling perhaps?
I’ve read enough American books to know what it means, but we usually use the word lounge and couch sometimes.

I’ve never read it. I’m instantly suspicious of anyone using the phrase Down Under though.
We have our “gentleman bushrangers” like Ben Hall and Harry Power, but for the most part they were a pretty nasty lost.

I don’t think even Arthur was doing that well (Mordred wasn’t one of his proud moments).
Wow! I’ve never really read about cowboys but they do sound pretty cool! All I know about them is the stereotypical stuff everyone else uses to make fun of them.

@rochellaine oh the agonies of being a writer and bookworm! we get so emotionally connected…

(*whispers* we don’t use the word sofa in Australia)
But yeah I understand what you’re saying. I just try to say dinosaurs otherwise people look at you rather oddly.
The KJV bible mentions dragons in several places! And the Behemoth is usually said to be a hippo/elephant but I definitely think its a dinosaur.

The Bible mentions the fact that demons had children by human women, who became giants and monsters
Whoa, wait, where was that?
