@supermonkey42 I love it! Also, Im sensing a significance with raspberries..?
@aratrea Its about a boy named Arlo who wants to be an astronaut. Early on he gets trapped in a deep sea world and though he would rather do his own thing, has little choice but to resolve conflict in the underwater world with the help of two supporting characters. -

@aratrea My main focus is art, writing, and fiction. However, I can write on a variety of topics. I have The Christian Writer’s Market Guide but it’s very outdated, so I’ll probably invest my Christmas cash in the 2018 edition (I do own the 2016 Children’s Writers and Illustrators Market Guide, but most of the magazines are secular and I prefer to…[Read more]

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes someone a hero. There are some obvious things, but you can be a hero and not defeat the evil villain, right? What about always being loyal to your friends and family? Always choosing to do the right thing when doing the wrong thing is easier?
So what makes someone a hero?
I need ideas for my n…[Read more]

Over the past two years, I’ve been thinking about what I want to do with my life. My dream is to become an author/illustrator. Up until the past six months or so I remained silent to the writing and art world. That was fine, but now that I’m trying to pursue art/writing as a profession, I need to branch out. The problem is that I know little about…[Read more]

@aratrea I can think of several examples from the Bible. In 1 & 2 Kings especially, when so many bad kings are overthrown and a few faithful survive. Or when the Babylonians captured Judah, and everything looked awful, but it was to draw the people of Israel (protagonist) back to God;Â we know more of the story, that the Messiah did come. Would…[Read more]

@Aratrea Just because I’m wondering, is that side-line bar thing of most recent forum topics/replies gone forever? *mournful blink* It was incredibly helpful and I just wondered. I know there’s the the recent forum topics page, but that’s not the same as just having the current threads right for you on the side of whatever page you may be on.

*waves hand around* Yes, yes…I know I said I’d see you all next year, but this is a question that couldn’t wait any longer.
Currently, I’m trying to write a novel. Too many novels actually, which is where this problem came up. You see, I finished Sector One, so I’m trying to write the sequel to it. But I’m 71,000 words in with 30,000 more to…[Read more]

@his-instrument I love the storyline!
It does sound kind of dark. Maybe you could like spread out the dark a little bit…?
Anyway, sure! I’ll read it. 🙂

That’s cool that you did BB–did you enjoy it?
I really like Chuck Black right now, but through the KP author interviews I’ve discovered some new authors that I want to check out. : )

Unfortunately that plugin was one of the plugins that broke the site a couple weeks ago. >.> Hence why it was taken down.
Eventually we’d like to get that back up, but that requires a lot of behind-the-scenes web work to fix that and allow for other features, and that web work will take a while to accomplish.
Ahh… That’s too bad.
Heh, I don’t doubt it! Well, it’s seriously admirable all the stuff you guys do to keep this place in tip-top shape and most user-friendly possible. We appreciate it. 😉
Thanks!
