It has no language or sexual content (that is something I’m very strict about). It’s adventures of a sister and brother and their journies growing up and crossing the lands. It doesn’t have gory violence, but there are many battles. It’s no more violent than the LoTR. I wrote it for teens.

There’s no strict deadline :)…[Read more]

  • @devastate-lasting okay all good.  let me know if you want to at some later point too, if not I totally understand

  • Hi y’all!! so, I’m looking for beta readers, as betrayed by the title.

I’m not sure if you like fantasy or not, but if you do then this is a good opportunity for it!! I do not have a strict dead-line, but I’d love some feedback by the end of the year to see if I need to make any major changes…

I’m gonna tag some people, and since I don’t know…[Read more]

@imwritehere1920 your website is adorable! SOOO cute! And of course, so is your bunny XD

    • @nova21

Hi Ella! Thanks so much visiting! Glad you like it.
Aww, thanks! We have wild bunnies in our backyard and we feed them during the summer. Sometimes, if you hold really still, and squat down low, they’ll come close enough to take their picture! 🙂 Do you have any wildlife around your house?

      • ella replied 5 years ago

That’s awesome! I love trying to take pics of wildlife (but it can be pretty frustrating bc most animals don’t appreciate it 😉) I live in the south so we get a lot of reptilian things… XD Snakes, lizards, even scorpions! Not as cute as bunnies, but still pretty interesting. XD In the mornings on my way to school I often see deer too. And…[Read more]

Haha! My mom got a camera awhile back and has been trying to take pictures of our hummingbirds. Yeah, if only wildlife would cooperate!

We live out in the country, so we see snakes and lizards too. One four foot gopher snake just slithered by like nobody’s business, and weirdly, two quail were marching behind him …. why? Not sure 🤷…[Read more]

That’s so cool! That’s hilarious, quail marching behind him? LOL! I know, scorpions are just… freaky. I found a dead one in our pool and I didn’t go in for about a week! XD I don’t think I’ve been able to get a pic of deer bc it’s basically “ooo, look, a deer!” and everyone’s like “where?” then I’m like “nevermind, it’s gone.” XD I will…[Read more]

            • Yikes! I know, right? One time, I went to our bedroom closet, turned, and BOOM! One was sitting there on the wall! I heard a pastor refer to scorpions as sneaky. Yep. Definitely sneaky!

Haha! Yeah, it’s like that in our family. We’ll be driving along, someone sees a deer, and by then it’s gone. I hope you get that picture someday!

              Cool!…[Read more]

              Oh that’s terrifying! Thanks 😉
Awesome! My favorite subject last year was geometry and this year I’m really looking forward to biology. I didn’t have a great experience in my literature class but I think this year will be great.

  • @will_starke Those shades are dope if anything is.

  • Hey @akbaer ! Sorry I’m late…  Welcome to KP!  I am Ella and I love writing dystopian fiction, drinking tea, playing sports, and drawing flowers.  And I have an irrational fear of falling into the murky river near our house. *cough* *smiles, wondering if we can still be besties* XD

Excuse me if these questions have already been asked, bu…[Read more]

Kaunon has been into a lot of scrape and survived by the skin of his teeth, the scares are from fire battles and a nasty sand dragon that tried to eat him and when that didn’t work it tried to crush him 😂

here is the meeting of Alinnas parents

Gaol kept flying north, and after a few hours of steady flight, passed the m…

Ohhh I love Secret Garden, it’s a lovely book! I should read it again! Who’s your favourite character? I love the robin redbreast.

Children of Hurin is worth the read when you have time! for most people i know who have said that it’s intimidating it’s usually the writing style; it’s like reading an old history textbook for fun.…[Read more]

This guy sounds fascinating!  His backstory is awesome, and he sounds like a genuine character.  For likeability, you could:

    1)  Give the MC and Ridley something in common (a hobby, a genre of music, a favorite food, etc)

    2)  like @elfwing said, moments of vulnerability.  That would make the reader open up to him really fast…[Read more]

I’ll see how I can improve it for sure! 🙂 I’m not really into emotional scenes of this kind but these two have a special relationship, so I wanted to add it.
