Okay… hmmmmmmmm…. in that case. I don’t know. A door that doesn’t quite latch all the way, a secret way only a cat would think of? I dunno what that would be as I’m not a cat but if I walked around my house long enough I might figure it out.

@bluejay Maybe the family had to leave for whatever reason and while the door was being held open, the cat slipped out the door and nobody noticed? It was a pretty common occurrence when we had a cat.

@vanna I agree!! It would be amazing to be able to physically see a story grow somehow, to see it grow from this little town with a couple characters I thought would fit well to an entire world in catastrophe and all these characters with different relationships with each other going in and out of plot.
