@bluejay Sorry I couldnβt write with you yesterday. I had a lot of things to do and had to go out in the evening.
Today though, I could really do with someone to write with. Any time really could be fine.
April 26, 2016 at 8:27 pm #11887@anna-brie Kate and I are writing for the next fifteen minutes.

April 26, 2016 at 8:46 pm #11892@Daeus 1,031 words. Did you finish outlining your chapter?
@kate-flournoy Literally just finished. I think this will be my longest chapter yet. Itβs kinda the climax so no big surprise.

April 26, 2016 at 8:52 pm #11895@Daeus awesome. Believe it or not, the climax for my current story actually spanned about five chapters. π So youβre off to a good, manageable startβ¦ which is something I struggle with. π I tend to bite off more than I can chew, then spend enormous amounts of time fixing it up and streamlining it.

@kate-flournoy *Coughs* well actually, my climax is more like three chapters including the last one. This is the first chapter of the three climatic chapters. From a technical point of view, the next chapter is what actually includes the climatic point, but all three chapter are pretty climatic.
A five chapter climax sounds wonderful.

April 26, 2016 at 8:58 pm #11898*happy sigh* I donβt know about you, but I love climaxes no matter how long or short they are. Itβs so nice when theyβre done. π

Hey, you should memorize one of my fencing teacherβs favorite sayings, βSlow is smooth. Smooth is fast.β

April 26, 2016 at 9:27 pm #11908Youβre right @Daeusβ¦ I really should remember thatβ¦ *hides head in hands, sniffles loudly* BUT I HAVE SO MUCH I NEED TO WRITE AND IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE SO LITTLE TIME IN WHICH TO DO IT!!! *sniffles even louder, bursts into tears*β¦
β¦*crocodile tears*
Or should I say *dragon tears*?
Hmβ¦ somehow it doesnβt have the same ring to itβ¦ π
@kate-flournoy Well, thatβs the point. Smooth is fast.
Now for me, nothingβs fast, but at least Iβm faster than I could be by being slower.

April 26, 2016 at 9:36 pm #11911Anyone available from 00:50-00:05? Iβm writing my first fight scene, but I keep over think and procrastinating.
April 26, 2016 at 9:48 pm #11913Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.
@kate-flournoy Well, what it means is that if you take a little time in between your writing bursts to make sure what you are about to write is trim, lean, and mean, you will save yourself a lot of time in the long run, though you will have to take some pauses in between your writing. In the original fencing situation, it meant that if you practice the form of whatever you are doing (lunges, parries, etc) with care, doing it slowly so that you can pay attention to detail, you will eventually be able to do it with perfect fluentness at top speed.

@Daeus Iβm gonna write that down and hang it on a wall in my room. Also, Iβm bringing that out next time some one tells me to hurry up If anything, it will confuse the person long enough to buy me some more time. πAlso, I will be writing for the next 45 minutes if anybody is onβ¦
April 26, 2016 at 9:59 pm #11918Iβm home and available to write with anyone if they want. @anna-brie, @vanna, @rolena-hatfield, @daeus @kate-flournoy, @faithdk
