Yep, Absolutely! The Savior taught us to love our enemies, not to say that queer individuals are our enemy, but many can be for that reason, and the principle remains the same.
Btw, I still only have a link to the Radical site, could you maybe tell me what the video is called?

I completely agree on what you’ve said concerning gender ideology, and it was in the subtext of what I said about technology. My Church is very firm with the Proclamation to the Family, which is simply collecting and reaffirming what we already believed:

just wondering what your thoughts are on this. (note if you don’t want to watch a 35 min video were a christian theologian tries to use the bible and history to disprove the Church of the Latter Day Saints that makes sense. So you don’t have to respond. The current discourse just made me want to know your thoughts on the video bel…

Yeah, determinism vs free will is definitely important. If you’d like to see below, I would recommend reading Romans 9, concerning that area of theology. As for the idea of God’s Word being subtly changed over time, that goes into the territory of, ‘is God’s Word infallible or not?’ If you mean translation-wise, yes, there are many…

Hi! Yeah, determinism vs free will is defiantly a big thing in this regard. We know we have to accept some degree of determinism, but how much is the question, because we want to preserve our own free will and ability to choose God or deny Him, as that is His great Plan of Happiness.

Absolutely! Does God not want all to come unto Him, every Man and Woman, Jew and Gentile, Race, tongue, and culture. It simply doesn’t make sense that God would intentionally force one to bitterness, then punish them for it, that wouldn’t be a loving God, but a vain and hateful one. I think it’s good to point…[Read more]

Maybe, but chronologically, Pharaoh says no, then the plagues come, Pharaoh says he would let them go if they remove the plague, they remove the plague, then his heart was hardened and he says no again. The issue with the plagues being the hardening is that it says his heart was hardened after the plague was removed. Of course,…[Read more]

That is very true. I don’t think it is a particularly new development, but it is a major factor. All the other reasons such as school and technology would also heavily inflate that particular problem by getting people to put other things before God in the day to day, such as their schooling and likes on social…[Read more]

Here’s another thought for y’all. I already have my views on this, but I’m curious what any of you think. Why did God basically play a game of stop hitting yourself with pharaoh? If you need me to elaborate, just…[Read more]

Good points again, but the whole thing with numbers, you’re starting at one. God didn’t start. He is outside of time, and by eternal, I mean we perceive Him to be. He exists outside of time, so in our eyes, he never began and never will end. It’s not that he’s inside of time, he is outside of it, which means He literally can’t beg…

Great question! That’s just our world right now I would say. The most rapidly growing religion right now is the absence of it on some counts. Truth right now is simply being attacked more than ever before. The idea that God can make a mistake, and put you in the wrong body has grown greatly in past years, and the next step this…[Read more]

The reason God is exempt of being caused is that the only things that need a cause are things that began to exist, because eternal things logically could not have a cause.
Wwwelllllll…. yes and no depending on a whole lot of things. Something that is eternal could most defiantly have a cause. Can I clarify your definition of…[Read more]

I know!!! Words of Radiance was so good! I haven’t read Oathbringer yet, still need to get a copy from the library, but I’m so excited! Have you tried decoding chapter 84? I know it’s not individual letters, but what else?

I’m glad I can’t convince you😂 To still respond to your points though:
1. You play back the causality argument on the atheist, but they may say that there could still be something else. Yes, what caused, what caused, what caused, but saying “God” doesn’t remove that problem except to simply say it’s eternal and unknowable, which…[Read more]

Well said concerning the drunk. Many suggest that if you simply believe, then your good, because Jesus fulfilled the law of Moses. However, He didn’t fulfill it so that we could be lazy, it’s quite the opposite. He gave new commandments, commandments that work by higher laws. Matthew 22:36-39 says to Love the Lord your God with…[Read more]

That depends on how I’m feeling, would I play along, or would I point out the fallacy? Maybe both.
“If no cat has 2 tails, and all cats have one more tail than no cat, then do all cats have 3 tails?”
I would say that if it is indeed true that a ‘no cat’ as 2 tails, and it is true that a ‘cat’ has one more tail than a ‘no cat’, then a…[Read more]

A good thing to know when your worldbuilding is why your worldbuilding. In your case, I’m pretty sure it’s writing. So now, what kind of world do you want to create, hard, soft, somewhere in-between? Now once you’ve answered these, there is no one way to start worldbuilding. Whatever feels relevant to the story, go ahead and…[Read more]
