@valtmy Yes, I understand that.  I had the same problem with her second book. 🙁  I did manage to get extremely attached to the guy who ended up dying, but since I already knew he was going to die it wasn’t a shock or anything when he did.

Ok, it’s time for breakfast so I’m going to depart.

What time is it where you live?

Hey. I just finished reading Part 1 of When Infinity is Empty and there’s… no more left? 😢

@seekjustice Working on my camp nano project. 😉  It’s not my western… 😮 😛  For some reason that one still wasn’t going that well.  I have the western all out in my head but it’s not going down.  I think it might be because I’m not used to writing with a plan, so a structured plot made me feel cramped or something.  Anyway, I have something else I’m working on (that’s not planned, 😛 ) and it’s going really fast, so maybe there’ll be something coming out of camp this month!

                  What about you?

Awesome! I know you and I have very different ideas on novel planning! What’s this new project?

Editing. I’m finally making some progress!

@seekjustice I think I showed you the opening a while back.  It’s Daughter of Judas.  Do you remember?  I was planning on finishing my western first, but I guess it’ll be easier to just go back and forth.  And if I can work on it straight through this month for camp I should have a great deal done, and maybe I’ll end up finishing a big project for the first time in two years. 😛

Great!  So now we’re both making progress.

It’s not much compared to what you write when you’re on a roll, but I got 1700 words done yesterday, and so far 420 today, so I’m really excited. (compared to my usual which is about 5-80 words per day… 😛 )

                      Listening to anything interesting?

Oh, yes! I remember that one! It looked really cool and it’d be awesome if you could finish it off!

I was so caught up in it that I forgot to do anything, including my school 😛 I think my mother’s forgiven me though…the perks of being homeschooled.

Schikaneder currently, which is a German musical about the fellow who wrote the libretto for The Magic Flute.

Hey guys. I’m awake earlier than usual so I’m here now.

Um I think I’m going to be not-writing and reading When Infinity is Empty today… 😅

Ah you’ve taken up my habit of getting up at six?

😀 Only yesterday you were saying how intimidating the first one alone was!

@seekjustice I hope to!  I’m having fun right now, and I think that’s the most important ingredient for quick progress in writing.

I’m being horribly mean to my poor heroine, though… 🙁

Maybe it’ll be a good thing for me to do both this and my western at the same time, since the western is much lighter, while this is darker than what I usually write, so if I need a break from it I can go back to my western for a bit.

Haha, homeschool is so flexible. 😀

Hm, interesting.  For some reason I always thought Mozart wrote the libretto for that.  Probably because I knew he could speak several languages so I just assumed he wrote his own words as well.  Guess not! 😛  I prefer stuff in English, though, so that probably wouldn’t interest me much.  There are only a few songs in other languages that I like and they’re mostly folk songs.  Right now my siblings are playing Sight&Sound soundtracks downstairs, so I’ve been hearing that.  You still haven’t gotten any of those Cds or DVDs, have you?

I wasn’t intending to wake up so early! My sleep was not going very well so I figured I might as well come back on here.

Ah well. If physics ever taught man anything, it is that greater force is required to start a motion than continue it.

                                  @rochellaine

I’m having internet trouble, so my post isn’t posting, which is a tad annoying.

Anyway, yes, that’s the great thing about having more than one WIP, which isn’t a thing I really get because I get so fixated on working on one thing at a time, rather than hopping around.

I’m not sure if Mozart usually wrote his own words, but definitely in the case of The Magic Flute it was written by Emanuel Schikaneder.

Ah, for some reason I love listening to songs in other languages, particularly German.

And no, I haven’t! Do you know if any of their stuff is on iTunes?
